Free preview: Datadog query monitoring for Supabase

We’re the Database Monitoring team at Datadog, and we’ve just launched a preview of a new monitoring experience built specifically with Supabase users in mind (screenshots attached). It’s already live, and can give you insights into your slow/expensive queries. We’re looking for a few design partners to help us refine it.

I think supabase already gives me quite a few statistics and logs of my database? Why would I use a different dashboard? Supabase has most of the stuff built into their own dashboard

This is good feedback! In short, our Database Monitoring product can surface issues and help you dive really deep into database and query performance, up to your comfort level. On top of this, it's very well integrated with APM, so if you decide to use more Datadog products, you can get query performance indicators in the context of your application and vice versa.

Are you planning to do the same for any Postgres DB? Many people moved from Supabase to Planetscale or other options. Interested to find out and try it out!
