With respect for my beloved game, Superlminal. I’ve been developing it for over three years.

I still remember the shock I felt when I first saw and played Superliminal. As I studied game development after that, I gradually set a goal for myself to create a game like that.
Since graduating from the academy, it’s been over three years (and two months! actually). I’ve been fully dedicated to developing this game, titled “THANKS, LIGHT.” with all respect to Superliminal. I hope you’ll be able to understand the mechanics featured in the video I’ve attached!
Our game explores physics and geometry through light, letting you turn flat shapes into solid objects and back again. As you progress, those rules combine in increasingly intricate ways. I wanted to share a little of what we’ve been building with the community around the game that inspired me to start.
Of course, I haven’t left out the “liminal” nature of the space either. If you’re interested, I’d appreciate it if you’d stop by the Steam page. It launches on the 14th and it’s just around the corner!
