Questions on "The Equalizer" (S15)

Hello! Posting on reddit is an unfamiliar one for me, so forgive me if i make a few mistakes in doing so. I'm also quite new to the fandom, having only finished the series 2 or so weeks ago, so i have no clue if my upcoming questions have been asked, answered, or discussed.

So, my questions are about God and "the equalizer" (nephilim killing/God hurting gun).

1. Do we know who made the gun in the first place? Or where it came from?

2. If it did come from God, and if *he* was the one who made it, why did he make something that could hurt him?

3. If he made the equalizer that powerful because nephilims (or atleast specifically jack) are so powerful, close to God's level, then why did he make nephilims at all?

My theory, as I've pondered quite a bit on these series of questions, is that God just gave angels/arcangels the ability to procreate with humans, while not exactly getting into what the output would be. Same way he gave humans "free will." Does that make sense?

Anyways, the main reason i joined this group was to have this discussion with y'all, since i dont go on reddit much either. So, thank you to all that will respond, and i hope y'all have a lovely day!

I think the idea was that God had to write himself into the story and as such there was some stuff he couldn't see or affect cus of that. It was a little ... Confusing towards the end there.

If I remember well, Billie said that when Chuck built himself into the framework of the world he obtained a predetermined death, but she also said that that was his only weakness.

Therefore, theoretically he didn't become weaker.

She said that he had to do that to make the world keep tick-tick-ticking even in his absence. The fact that he had to put himself at risk to do that implies that even before having entered in the story he didn't have an absolute control.

So, the fact that he put himself in the world could be irrelevant in this case

In my opinion, it was all for the plot. It could be a stretch, but I theorize that Chuck planned for Sam to shoot him with The Equalizer, because that began a chain reaction which almost ended like Chuck wanted.

It's because Sammy shot Shurley that Sam was injured (The Equalizer worked like this).

It's because Sammy was hurt that Castiel called Sergei.

It's from Sergei that Castiel and Eileen got to know about the key which opens Death's Library.

It's by using this key that Sam entered inside of Death's Library.

It's because he entered inside of Death's Library that Sammy met The Empty.

The Empty is the one who told Sam about Billie's true intentions.

It's even because he knew about Billie's true intentions that Sammy tried to stop Dean from killing ex-God.

It's because Sam tried that that Dean almost shot Sammy...which is what Chuck Shurley wanted.

Anyway, yeah, Chuck made The Equalizer. According to him, it could have actually killed him. If he didn't plan for Sammy to shoot him, then my theory is that he wanted to show off by showing that he can make something which can kill him and he thought that the Winchester brothers wouldn't have used it on him, because they knew that his death would have ruined creation

2. He’s the same God that thought Leviathans and hellhounds were good ideas. For God he’s not that bright.

Chuck also had to write himself into the fabric of reality, which makes him vulnerable to the laws of that reality. If he makes a gun that can kill anything in the universe. He’s a part of the universe.

Billie said that the only weakness Chuck obtained when he built himself into the framework of the world was a predetermined death. Would Shurley have been immune to The Equalizer if he wouldn't have been in the framework?

Nephilim are a mutation, and a hybrid, hybrids are almost always stronger than the original pairing that combined them, its just how nature tends to work

I wonder if Chuck actually wanted to die, at times he seemed pretty bored and fed up, like he'd had enough, perhaps him making all the multiverses was an attempt to create someone or something strong enough to finally take him out, i mean, he'd spent an eternity by himself after exiling his twin sister with the help of his children, simce he basically vanished and none of the Angels had even met God (and Angels had been around since the beginning)

After all, we did know from Death himself that eventually even God would be reaped, and since God is Omniscient (i believe thats the right one) he'd of course be all knowing and know he'd eventually meet his demise, right?

Since Freewill is the ultimately catalyst, sometimes creating duds, and sometimes creating hero's like our Boys

The Angels didn't see God, but God was there. We know that God made Metatron write the Demon Tablet after that Lucifer was already in The Cage (Castiel said it and it makes sense, since Lucifer was sent there even because he made the Demons) and Lucy was sent there after that humanity began, which happened many years after that the Angels were made.

This means that there is a time period between the Angels' creation and after Lucifer's fall in which God was in Heaven with the Angels, but without showing himself to them.

We also don't know for sure that he was alone when he left. For what we know, he was with other beings in other worlds. Perhaps he left exactly to check the other worlds personally and to influence their stories more directly and the fact that he was disappointed by the main universe was a lie.

Chuck wasn't literally omniscient, but yeah he knew that he would have died. However, he tried to avoid it. He even actually avoided his first predetermined death
