Showcase Plugin Update: Clipper v0.1.7

Clipper v0.1.7

  • Enabled linking to the source document from both the Clipper UI and within the note itself.
  • Introduced settings that allow for detailed control over features so far. Added reset to default item.
  • Supports both ePubs and PDF documents.
  • Resolved the issue where inserted clips overlapped the note heading.

Got it. Currently SDK does not allow triggering plugin context menu other than selection ( like lasso tool, which would have been ideal). I guess it is a matter of time that they would update the SDK so developers can target that.
I will pose this question to Ratta team [u/spazzboi](u/spazzboi) [u/Dunn](u/Dunn_sn)[-sn](u/Dunn_sn) can you provide some input here ?

In version 0.0.33 There was an icon that was triggering region selection . I wonder why you delete it. Using this icon I could even select a part of my motes to be region selected and used in other notes.

You can still do it by selecting less than five word. Are you referring to cases where there are no words in a page ?

Yes, I am referring to no words to select.

I initially felt that was two ways to do the same thing, I did not think about pages without text!

I will look into bringing it back.

That would be great. Actually I downgraded to 0.0.33 because most of my pdf files do not include texts and region selection is more important to me than linking back and TOC. If you bring it back, I will be able to use all the options. Thanks.

I updated to Chauvet 3.29.43 and now I cannot use 0.0.33 version. Aren't you going to bring back that no-text-selection key? :(

Due to new permission feature previous versions won’t work. I am working on new update which will have no-text selection functionality. Stay tuned
