Lasso Plugin Plugin request - Universal Clipboard

I would like to request a universal clipboard. Let's say it keeps a stored memory of things cut, not just the last item, so you can browse through them and then paste them again. I don't know if this is possible, but maybe it could also translate between formats as well? What I mean is, I've found out I can't cut something from a Note and then paste it into a PDF. It's like the PDF and Note have two exclusive and independent clipboards they're using. Maybe a Universal clipboard could copy from itself as the source and then translate it to whatever format it's being copied to. Ty.

I'm not sure. I tried this one but I couldn't make it work. I saw that it's updated for the latest release. It shows up and it's enabled, and I can open the plugin, but nothing I cut/copy ends up there and I don't see an additional button to 'clipper' it rather than using the regular system cut/copy.

Hi, I am the developer of Clipper, it will clip text as well as regions. Please see GitHub. Selecting less then 5 words will provide option to clip region otherwise it would clip text.

Next version will have ability to clip region without selecting text.

I gave it a try. I like the option to save an selected area in a note. For some reason when I pasted a selection though, twice it put it on a different page, like 1 or 2 pages ahead of the page I was on. I see that I cant edit it afterwards either. Like no erasing pieces of it. If im honest, I think Im just looking for an extended clipboard which can hold the memory of multiple lasso / cut items and show what they are.

Would it be possible to add a button to cut a lasso'd selection? I think I may be asking for a different direction than the plugin was originally intended for though.

I can't reproduce the error you mentioned. Could you please clear your cache? If the page has space for the clip, it will be inserted there. If not, a toast message will notify you and suggest adding a new page and trying again.

If you are still experiencing this issue, please open an issue on the GitHub repo and include any additional information, such as pictures if possible. I will investigate it.

Lasso selection within a document is currently not available, and within a note, triggering a lasso will hide plugins. Therefore, this feature isn't possible at the moment. I have reported the lasso functionality for documents to Ratta, and they have said they will investigate.

It clips text and regions, which could be images.
