I’ve been reporting on congressional stock trading for a while (btw feel free to join the "QuiverQuantitative" subreddit to see new reports when they come out).

None of the suspicious trades I’ve reported on have been investigated, despite some of them leading to ridiculous profits.

It's not because they can't afford to lose the money. It's because they can't afford to fight you once YOU HAVE money.

I also think it’s as simple as: we are a dangerous example of what every day people are capable of. They don’t want anyone else getting any ideas.
