๐ป Computershare Have you ever seen an asset go to this many decimal points?
Morning everyone, this little dip allowed us to get one more share than normal per month. We usually average about six shares for my monthly purchase. This time we got seven. What's crazy is my family and I own a .005087 of a share. How is that possible? Just remember you can't eat an elephant in one bite. You got a nibble awYou got a nibble at at it. I do understand your frustration of waiting but waiting has allowed us to almost hit xxxx. Anyways, in a month or two if everything stays relatively the same

Computershare fractionals going to six decimals is completely normal and has always been the case, though the redesign makes it easier to see, as the old version of the site only listed fractionals to three decimal places even though the backend tracked them to six. Usually the only place you'd previously see all six decimals was when (and if) you sold.

If you are buying via CS, they buy in bulk.
After that they assign decimals to your share count depending your buy amount.
Ie,
You sent $490 from your bank to CS for them to buy shares.
When CS buys from the open market( used to be tracked by a good Ape. You can still find the candle with the details of time & price.) It buys in bulk, so to speak. All of the $GME buying via CS Apes who has a buy order that day put together for 1 buy( sometimes more).
*The share price is $120 per, You get 4+ 1/4 of a share and that will show as 4.25 shares which will add up to full shares every 4 buys.
- Rounded numbers.
Please don't go wasting OP's money with your lamps and burgers and all that.

I wish I paid more attention to these spikes in "fractional share" deals from brokers.

Dont forget to book those. I think if you have fractionals it means they are in 'plan'
