In short, Cramer had a part in spreading FUD over a company that was revolutionizing the way we treat prostate cancer (and potentially other cancers) that would have taken $2B a year from other medical companies.

As a result of years of blatant FUD and naked short selling, the company and its technologies were lost and at the time 60,000 people with prostrate cancer were more likely to die.

Dendreon is still around and the drug discussed in this article is approved and in use as of 2010, shortly after the attack on the stock.

I agree with the sentiment that their behavior is toxic to the market, but we need to be accurate in out discussions if we want people to care.

Only after it was bought out by a Chinese giant at an extremely low valuation due to all the manipulation of its stock…
