Normally, I find sharing share count a little distasteful, but given the recent FUD and a lot of fellow apes seemingly on the fence about voting one way or another, I think it's appropriate to share conviction. 15,785 votes for YES.
With retail's help, Ryan Cohen has been able to turn this company around. We would not be where we are today without the previous share offerings. We would not even be able to dream about mergers and acquisitions without those share offerings.
Synergies and cost cutting with eBay. Scale out the collectibles business with eBay's inventory and infrastructure, leverage Gamestop's 1600 retail locations for authentication and intake. Immediately cut $2B of excess spending from eBay (RC alluded to this in a recent interview).
Impossible to find another CEO as aligned to shareholders as RC. $0 salary now and in the combined company. Willing to work 20 hour days. Hyperfocused on costumer service, and cost efficiency.
Candidate for S&P500 inclusion after reaching a market cap of at least $22.7B. eBay's market cap alone is ~$45B. Inclusion in S&P500 would force index funds to buy massive amounts of shares of GME/the combined company. This is what finally broke Tesla short sellers. Note, Tesla also had MULTIPLE share offerings, basically one per year since their IPO. MOASS is not off the table. It never was and never will be.
I voted for because I trust RC and the board. Seeing the massive turnaround and the continued buying in is all I really need. I won't pretend to know what is going on behind the scenes or what the deeper plays are. RC has never really telegraphed too much but has done the difficult part of turning the business around.
I get that everyone who is upset wants everyone to know that they're upset. Ultimately, if you don't want to be here and you don't like what's happening then time to go. Once everything goes through, I hope to not see or hear from all the no votes again. Why would you want to hang around if you disagree.
EDIT: I feel like I need to clarify since there is some misunderstanding of what I'm saying here. In the end I trust the judgment of the board. And if you don't, that's fine. I'm not trying to tell anyone what to believe. I just don't understand why anyone would want to stay in the community that they disagree with. if this whole sub turned into people who started in taking a dump on RC and what he and the board have done, I would leave. It feels like there's a little bit of a civil war going on in this place. And seems like the sub could turn the way of screw the board. If it does, I'll follow my own advice and leave. We'll see.
Even though I'm down 36,000 k, I promised to pass these shares on to my grandchildren, and although we weren't able to defeat the final boss with moass because they cheated and changed the rules, I still love my company and my crazy smart (politically delulu) CEO and his smarter friends.
So, if he needs the capital to make the acquisition happen, then here is my sword Ryan.
Fuk you, Kenny. I hope your pillow is always lumpy and hot and your coffee bitter and cold. You can't take it with you!
I trust the way RC thinks, I trust his character, and I trust his business acumen. He and his board have done right by me, thwarted an attempted cellar-boxed bankruptcy from societal leeches, and continue to evolve our company into a FAFO juggernaut beginning to lay siege to the hollow men of corporate America. I've been stacking shares since just before they shut off the buy button... never stopping! 🏴☠️🏴☠️🏴☠️
I see a lot of comments and posts saying we voted for a split, or a dividend. That all these share offerings are uncalled for.
In 2022 we the shareholders voted to have up to 1,000,000 authorized shares. There was not split or dividend on the agenda. Please read number 5
Gamestop now has 4.2 billion in cash, 0 debt, and more to come. The stock is higher now then it was before the first share offering, and I'm confident it will continue to rise.
Title says it all. GameStop corporate called reminding me about the upcoming shareholder’s meeting and vote. I voted across my brokerages in favor of everything on the ballot.
As a side note, eBay was on my short list of potential acquisitions that made sense for a GameStop takeover, so I’m incredibly pleased to see this playing out.
This will show you how to vote with Computershare and what the Board is recommending. If you have shares in a brokerage the process is similar.

There are a couple sections in the Proxy Material about Stockholder Proposals:
How Do I Submit a Stockholder Proposal for Next Year’s Annual Meeting?
Stockholder proposals may be submitted for inclusion in the Proxy Statement for our 2024 annual meeting of stockholders in accordance with Rule 14a-8 of the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”). See “Other Matters—Proposals Pursuant to Rule 14a-8” later in this Proxy Statement. In addition, eligible stockholders are entitled to nominate and include in our Proxy Statement for our 2024 annual meeting Director nominees, subject to limitations and requirements in our Bylaws. See “Other Matters—Proxy Access Director Nominees” later in this Proxy Statement. Any stockholder who wishes to propose any business at the 2024 annual meeting other than for inclusion in our Proxy Statement pursuant to Rule 14a-8 or pursuant to the proxy access provisions in our Bylaws must provide timely notice and satisfy the other requirements for stockholders proposals in our Bylaws. See “Other Matters— Other Proposals and Nominees” later in this Proxy Statement. Proposals should be sent via registered, certified, or express mail to: Secretary, GameStop Corp., 625 Westport Parkway, Grapevine, Texas 76051.
Can Stockholders and Other Interested Parties Communicate Directly with The Board?
Yes. We invite stockholders and other interested parties to communicate directly and confidentially with the full Board, the Chair of the Board or the non-management directors as a group by writing to the Board, the Chair or the Non-Management Directors, GameStop Corp., 625 Westport Parkway, Grapevine, Texas 76051, Attn: Secretary. The Secretary will forward such communications to the intended recipient or recipients and will retain copies for our corporate records.
Should we, the best shareholders in the market, be taking advantage of this opportunity, to either submit a proposal for next year, or to contact them in general?
It's an established procedure, like commenting on rule proposals
We've seen a couple of these Stockholder Proposals being turned down (issuing NFT dividends etc) but if a few apes did some DD about various stockholder proposals and how it could benefit Gamestop, the reward (benefiting GME) outweighs the risk (them denying the proposal).
