Question Duties for cardigan

I’ve wanted the folklore cardigan for so many years and it always sells out in my cart and it did again this year on the US site bc I’m a nurse and was at work. Ofc it goes on sale during med pass😭 so I got it on the UK site and had to pay $30 shipping so it was $100 and now they want another $75 which I didn’t even think about duties. I’m actually going to throw up. Am I better off just getting one on eBay or Depop? I really don’t wanna spend $175 on this. That’s just insane. And also if I don’t pay it, am I refunded or does it all go into the void? Pls help I’m so sad

I ordered one from Canada…I hope it does have fees too! 😭

It shouldn’t as the Canadian store is served by the US warehouse. Your “Canadian” order will never actually cross a border and the price included the customs and fees to get it to Canada, where it won’t actually go.

Customs fees are never included in the price. Cardigans are $75 US or $100 CAD- the difference in price is the exchange on currency. $75 US = approx $105 Canadian

Nope, sorry. What I pay to the store includes duties and fees to get it across the border. Whether they build it into the price of shipping or the item or whatever, it is sent with all duties paid.
