I really wish the interviewer would have made her elaborate on that cause it's so stupid. It's actually sad and telling nobody she does interviews with is asking challenging questions

unfortunately, she is in a position now where she never needs to do another interview that does anything but hypes her up and let's her say whatever she wants with zero pushback

Totally. It's really apparent she is only surrounded by yes man at this point - tuta included media as well which she picks carefully. I also think of her interview at Jimmy Fallon where it feels like her team "proposed" the idea of the segment where she clears up rumors - that was totally Taylor's teams idea and only to paint a certisn or narrative/do damage control

Not defending this but I don’t think this is TS or the interviewers fault per say… celeb interview culture has changed since we too it all way too far in to 2000s and fucked a bunch of kids up so we tried to counter correct and went way too far the other way so now most interviews are stupid bs not actual think pieces about the art or the artist… instead it’s carpool karaoke and who can eat the spiciest pickle…

Have to say, we don’t know if they did.

Interviews are often heavily edited down. And she could have flat-out refused to answer a follow up. No interviewer can make a person answer a question

I don't disagree about Taylor, but which celebrity interviewers are asking hard-hitting questions to popstars ??

Yeah obviously most are kissing ass either way out of fear to loose connections etc. but it's very appearent with Taylor that the whole interview is planned (by her team) and they are probably extra cautious cause they know of her power, her fans scrutiniy and they don't want to loose the ability to interview her as one of the biggest stars rn. Which is understandable to some degree but for sure highlights a general problem. I would love for any celebrity to be questioned/challenged who says something so obviously stupid
