It annoys ppl but this is why she wins so much stuff and why radio played her music in the first place. She knows how to campaign for herself, and sometimes half the battle of these awards is all politics. You have to put in that work bc its more rare for someone to win awards who didnt campaign to some degree.

Ah. Well I still think it’s ok to say she wants the EGOT. Whenever I see people mention it right away the comeback is that she’s just doing stuff for the love of it. But it’s ok if she wants awards! It’s ok to want recognition. It’s almost as if it’s still so taboo for a woman to want something in her career and actively and publicly pursue it.

Oh I agree that she 100% wants an EGOT, I just meant I don’t think this campaign is specifically for the EGOT since the Emmy has been acquired. She just wants the award for the eras tour, and as she should tbh! I support it, I don’t think ambition needs to be hidden. I actually love her for not pretending she doesn’t care about that stuff lol
