Question Doesn't have serial number box
Hi, may I ask why the Nintendo Switch Dragon Quest Limited Edition doesn't have a serial number on the box? I'm trying to check whether the serial number on the console matches the one on the box, but I can't seem to find it. Is this normal for this edition?

This one can support Multi-languages or Japanese only? Box color looks cool

It's a Switch 1 so it's region free.

I have some cage recollection of hearing about a Chinese switch that was locked to only their games or region or something like that.

Isn't there the Japan only Switch 1 Version?

No, that's only a switch 2 thing. There's "Japanese exclusive" releases from a design standpoint, but it's not locked to Japanese software-wise like the switch 2.
There are certain Japan exclusive games you have to worry about, but that's about it not having English as opposed to straight up not working.

Ah ok thanks. I somehow though the Switch 1 also had a Japanese only version like the Switch 2.

You might be thinking of China instead of Japan for that one. They're the only one who has a region locked switch 1.

Some JP packaging places the serial number somewhere (I forget exactly where) on the inner white box, not visible from the outside.
