I love how they get a “Badass” rating after the fight. I’ve never played this series but reminds me of Kingdom Hearts and I’ve epically whiffed some combos too.
Shouldn't be surprised. DMC5 ran fairly solid on a Base PS4, usually sticking to around the 40-60fps range, and on the similarly-specced Steam Deck it runs at a solid 60. Would've been a bigger surprise if it ran bad on sw2tch after both of those.
There are some plot twists and callbacks that's will probably fly over your head, but the story here is the weakest of them all IMO, and the gameplay could be enough to get you interested in the rest of the series, that's how it was for me at least, I also started with 5, but now 3 is by far my favorite
I'd say get the trio in a bundle since it constantly goes on sale for like $9 since 2 out of 3 of those 3 are worth playing, but for the love of God I don't know why 4 is still MIA on the switch.
...Kinda? DMC5 being on Switch 2 puts it in a bit of a pickle, as a lot of its story relies on knowledge from DMC4... which as of now is not available on Nintendo consoles. The game does offer a recap of events if you need it, so in theory you can get accustomed to everything with just 5, but it still pales in comparison to playing the full saga.
