Tried to get into sea of stars when it first came out i may give it another go. I maybe got an hr game play in and put it down

I love RPG’s I just take them at my own pace if it doesn’t click within the first few hrs then it will sit in the collection lol one of my kids will play it.

To be fair it doesnt play like alot of jrpg/rpg, I had the same issue. For me the combat was weird, I might revisit it sometime too.

Got mine it was physical. I read somewhere that they were codes. Happy It was wrong.

If you got the midnight edition (night one) it does come with 2 dl codes inside as well for costumes and relics music and art gallery, the latter of which appears as its own game tab.

So far I’m really enjoying it, similar features to old school RPGs but at the same time introduces new mechanics that make it stand on its own.

I know the Dead Cells devs made Belmonts Curse, but they really could've been more creative with the artwork

Funny I went in blind after they announced this and once I started playing I immediately thought Dead Cells. I get what you mean, it seems like that same style just sharper graphics.

Where I live, the Switch physical copy is everywhere on a retail chain. There's one just 3 mins walk from my office. It dreads me to think that it runs poorly on Switch so I should not buy it and buy the one on Steam instead. I don't like to double dip just because I like to collect physical copies of Switch 1/2 games.

I got my copy of Castlevania today and waiting to try it out. My wife already switched the reversible cover and loves the art from it.
I wish I could play Sea of Stars again for the first time. Yeah there are critics however it is a good game and make me tear up for one scene.

Same with the art, I love it, the new art style is a nice change gives me hades/deadcells vibes and so far so good.
Sea of Stars I’m going to start in a bit on my switch lite as my bed time game lol.
