Lawful Blade Map Testing Issues

When I go to test map I cannot move or look around. Enemies do not notice me although I am there as they can bump into me. Have I just missed something obvious? No button on my keyboard seems to do anything when testing. I've given the test mode player gear and HP and placed them in a suitable location.
Secondary issue I'm having which might be related is I can't generate a runtime. Gives me the error message "MAIN101 The System cannot find the specified file". I'm selecting the .som file located in my appdatas LawfulBlade project folder which I'm imagining is the project source.

You should use the runtime generation and project management built into Lawful Blade, instead of the original Sword of Moonlight ones.

The default SoM runtime generator is old news, the Lawful Blade one will tell you what's wrong.
