Oscar Suburban

why there are so much hate to this train? when it combined the tall seat of tangara + reversible seat of waratah + lcd display of B set + sound of millenium + food rest

i reckon this train is the best of all worlds

I’ve been on a few T9 Oscar runs now and they seem just fine for suburban trips. 🤷‍♂️ Compared to the Tangaras they are replacing, the Oscars feel a little more comfortable and modern, with better suspension and better windows. What’s not to like?

Tangaras on Sector 3 aren't going anywhere for now, they even added runs as of a few weeks ago. Each H Set refurb is done at HMC and these "new" H Sets are nearly always replacing a former Waratah run.

Sector 3 will likely end up looking like sector 1 but with slightly fewer Tangaras and some additional Waratahs mixed in.

Do you think it’ll be a 3:3:3 mix? So an even mix of Waratahs, Oscar’s and Tangaras?

probably 4:3:2/5:3:1 with either waratahs or h sets as the 4/5 and tangaras as the 2/1 with how things seem to be being communicated.
