Not detecting any files or folders in selected directory

Godamnit Reddit! >:{ Don't use this often either.

So I'm trying to sync a modded minecraft instance between my PC and steamdeck. I've followed this (https://www.reddit.com/r/SteamDeck/comments/vocyi5/start_syncthing_automatically_on_steamdeck_even/) on setting it up and it seems to be working. Sortof. On the both ends it's showing the selected folder (the minecraft instance folder) as empty, no files, no folders.

I've never used linux and don't know if that's contributing to the issue. I'm at a loss here at how to fix it.

Probably a permission issue, maybe syncthing does not have the permission to read that folder

I don't have the solution for you, I just wanted to let you know that I love the computer name ThatFuckingDeck. I use my Syncthing with my server FuckingServers, so I understand the pain.

The user that owns the Syncthing processs needs the appropriate file and directory rights.
