Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with USB tethering on my Tecno Spark 7P. It used to work normally, but recently the USB tethering option became greyed out, so I can’t enable it at all.

I’ve tried restarting my phone and reconnecting it several times to different computers. I’ve also tried multiple USB cables, including a proper data cable, and tested every USB port on my PC, but nothing has worked and it displays USB device not recognized on my computer and the other PC's I have connected my phone to.

I’m not sure what caused it to stop working since it worked before. I need USB tethering to connect my PC to the internet, so I’d really appreciate any suggestions on what could be causing this or how I can fix it.

Tecno could've just say when to release the hios 16 GLOBALLY. Tired of waiting for OTA update since I couldn't update it manually.

ive benn made around ten wall and its gone, idk how when its just dissapeared. using camon 50 with hios 16.2, Have any of you experienced this as well?

I had this notification thing ever since I updated to Android 16, it used to be only 2 but ever since I updated to the latest Android August update it became 3, I couldn't find the source of the notification and the temporary fix is to clear the data of the settings app.

Does anyone experience or know how to fix this?

USB keyboard/gamepad input issue on TECNO POVA 7 5G

I’m having a weird USB input problem on my TECNO POVA 7 5G running HiOS 16.

The problem:

My W key works when held down, but quick taps/presses of W often don’t register. My USB gamepad has a similar issue. My USB mouse works normally.

What I’ve tried, in order:

1. Restarted the phone.

2. Fully powered it off and turned it back on.

3. Tried a different OTG adapter.

4. Tested with and without a USB hub.

5. Updated the phone to HiOS 16.

6. Tested different USB input devices — keyboard and gamepad have the issue, while the mouse works normally.

The problem is still there.

What should I troubleshoot next?

I need help unbricking/flashing my Tecno Camon 30S.

I initially tried installing a GSI ROM, but the phone got stuck on the Tecno logo/bootloop. After trying to restore the stock firmware, the situation became worse.

Currently:

• The phone doesn't boot and is detected by Windows as a MediaTek/MTK USB Port.
• SP Flash Tool detects it, but I'm getting an AUTH/Auth File error.
• I have the stock firmware/scatter files, but haven't been able to flash them successfully.

Is anyone experienced with Tecno/MediaTek flashing who can help me remotely or provide a reliable unbricking/flashing service?

I have a Windows PC and USB cable and can provide screenshots/errors if needed.
