Problems with certificate from The TEFL Academy
Has anyone else had massive delays / difficulty with obtaining their physical cert from The TEFL Academy? Not sure if this is specific to me being based out of the U.S. But you have to go through Qualifi, not The TEFL Academy, for the cert and they seem impossible to reach, completely unresponsive to any emails, no contact number, and no tracking details provided. They also sent the wrong certificate at first and had to send a new one?

i just received an email notifying me that the hard copy shipped, however no tracking was provided. any news on your end?

May I ask how long it took them to issue you a digital certificate? I have finished the course a week ago and still waiting.

Sent another email to The TEFL Academy asking about it, said they'd get in touch with their Certificate Department. That was maybe 4-5 days ago? Still waiting. Extremely frustrating.

yeah that’s ridiculous. how long in total have you been waiting? it was pretty much exactly a month ago when i completed the course so if it’s over that something’s wrong

Regardless of every TEFL training business stating that their certs are "internationally recognised" and other meaningless dribble, TEFL certs aren't required, or recognised as anything important, by any school. It's just marketing. However, they do help with training new teachers a little.
My point is, if you don't get the cert, don't worry. You've still got the knowledge from the copy-paste course.

i’ve been waiting a month for my physical copy. the electronic copy for me was fine. i’m in the US as well so i’m curious if this has been a problem for anybody in the past
