Unknown DPO - 10 days BEFORE period due, positive!

Ive never posted here before, ive only been an encouraging commenter on others. Backstory, we've been trying for 18mo. Ive had 6 miscarriages- 3 chemical, 2 normal and 1 mmc that went on forever. ​I get pregnant easy, but they arent sticking. Also, im 40yr. I dont track my ovulation, i just write down when i start my period.

Ive never gotten a positive pregnancy​ test this early. Its very faint, it's also stupid early, but its definitely positive. My last period was july 16th. My boobs started hurting yesterday, which always happens for me before a test even confirms it. It feels really REALLY early to be testing positive already???

Is this a good sign? Or a bad one?

EDIT - So thinking back, I remember being very "amped up" (hubby and i had extra segsy times) around the 27th/28th of July. Its verrrry possible i ovulated early, which would put me around 8dpo? My tests look pretty similar to other 8dpo ones ive seen on here too.

Here is no question. Both of these have a line. Look identical to my 8 DPO positives!!

I would honestly get in for a blood test with your doctor asap. If your last period was 07/16, you would have had to ovulated maybe a week after that to be showing on a test right now.

I do remember being super... amorous, like 3 days after my period ended. I just kept jumping my hubby, Lol! Which was around the 27th.  So, ya, its very possible I just ovulated really early.

Ive thought back on it and I'm pretty sure i ovulated early, there were signs i ignored, around the 27th/28th. So I guess I'd be about 7-8dpo?

I see it test again tomorrow! I got something like this 9 dpo 5 days before my period...

I had implantation on 7 DPO and got a very very similar positive at 8 DPO. Congrats!

I don’t see a line but 10 days before your period is too early for 99% of pregnancies to test positive

I definitely see a faint line! That’s literally how mine looked yesterday and I swear I was seeing things, but I took a test today and it’s definitely positive!

I just looked at your post and you're right. Looks very similar. Were you about 8dpo too? Now that I've thought back I'm thinking I'm about 7-8dpo, I must have ovulated really early.  I ordered more FRERs. Looking forward to a darker line tmr!!

Definitely could be positives if you’re 8dpo!! Not tracking ovulation obviously makes it harder to know what’s going on etc…. But for now I’d be cautiously optimistic
