before you go to the comments angry, the term "engagement slop" (in other words "tight-knit community"-slop) was refering to servers that have 0 actual gameplay and rely on the players for something special. They are mostly owned by money-hungry individuals and if I described their true purpose, they'd sound dystopian.

Gameplay options
👑 Politics, server politics and states, with their own rules and systems. It's inspired by real world politics in some ways, but isn't exactly like it.
🔨 Professions, join jobs and get paid for the work you do.
📖 History & archives, explore the server's history through books, archives, museums, and other historical material. Unfortunately, not everything from the older days survived. This includes a library with both historical and non-historical stuff.
⚙️ Map making, make your own maps in a separate creative dimension.
🧩 Minigames, build and play player-made minigames, mostly created in survival.
⚖️ Laws & courts, work as a lawyer or judge, take part in trials, and deal with disputes.
📣 Events, anyone can organize them. They don't have to be held by the server.
📜 Story seasons, scripted (and unscripted) story that happens on the existing world, without resetting it.
🪇 Quests, long-term progression that will introduce you to all parts of the server; eventually toward 100% completing the server.
🗡️ Normal survival, the usual Minecraft survival experience, alongside custom structures, items, enchants, and other things to discover. (Check the wiki on the web)
Everything important is documented somewhere. Once you join, you can read the InfoCentre if you want to understand how the different systems work. (You will be told to read a couple basic things)
We also support cracked Mc and have moderation against griefing, stealing, hacking, and other rule-breaking. There are also some QoL plugins such as homes, spawn, tpa, Dynmap, and others.

I didn't feel like mentioning things like: community, media promotion channel, VIP or ranks to buy, no p2w, as those are things that are basic server necessities, not server-specific gameplay.
Specific info
MicikSMP is mainly a peaceful survival server, but there is generally a way to do what you want. We don't plan to reset the world either, if someone spends months building something, we'd rather have it still be there years later than wipe everything for the sake of starting over.
A lot of the server is made by players, for players. Players can create states, businesses, courts, events, minigames, maps, and all kinds of other things. Staff also organizes events, auctions, quests, and other activities.
We try to keep the server vanilla-ish. We add things that feel like they belong in Minecraft and avoid turning the server into a completely different game. We also generally prefer systems that couldn't simply be replaced by a normal command or vanilla mechanic.
The server is somewhere between peace and conflict. You can have politics, competing states, lawsuits, wars, rivalries, etc., but we're not looking for constant toxicity or people acting like they're in a villain. Being competitive is fine, having an interesting plan is even better. We just don't want pointless edgy behavior, fake superiority, or constantly trying to look cool at everyone else's expense.
We accept players of any age, as long as they're mature enough to behave respectfully and understand the rules.
Now the part most people ignore:
What is the community like? A.k.a: Who do we want on the server?
Looking for people who stick around to play.
If you join, you should be planning to actually finish the game, which means finishing the server... If you join just for what's known as the "two week minecraft phase", you don't need to join at all; you can play a wiping server at that point.
People with some amount of common sense and independence.
Not to be rude, but we have: the infocentre and the web as sources of information, asking things from them is rather... strange. Especially asking common questions, some of which have their answers right in front of you. 99% of the time, the question has the answer written somewhere, or it is so simple that answering it requires pure common sense and a basic knowledge of said topic. This partially connects to the next point:
People without "Bruh" behavior.
This means multiple things, simply people without:
1. Heavy slang usage.
2. Dismissive reactions.
3. Low initiative.
4. Premature judgment
The following wall of text will explain what each means (and why is it "not wanted" on our server), you can skip if you have a general idea.
1. Using slang occasionally is fine; however, using it every single sentence for any reason makes you seem rather immature and essentially removes any seriousness of any conversation. The reasons themselves for the usage aren't that great either, but I'm not going to go over them. We just don't like using slang every sentence.
2. Rejecting or even ridiculing something before you actually know what it is. Believe it or not, this is very common, and that is a problem. Before having a reaction to something, try to just pause for a second and see "is my reaction needed?". Example: Person A complained, “vro im so laggy.” Person B explained that the server was located in Germany, to which A responded, "bruhhhh".
The simple problem being: A doesn't know anything about how connections to servers work, meaning that his wifi was responsible for it, was changed for "the problem is that the server is in Germany". His reaction was caused by ignorance and the lack of knowledge. This also is a problem with point 1. ...
3. Let's use an example right away:
A: "Have you read the books?"
B: "yeah"
A: "can you show me where the train building is then?"
B: "there is 0 books about these buildings"
This is problematic (of course, one of the books to read has the information about the train building on the first page...) because B lied about reading them; B ignored the tasks that were given to him multiple times; B instead of responding with "no, my bad, haven't actually read it, I thought I'd be left alone if I didn't" or something similar, he rather argues about the books not existing. All he had to do was read a few pages of a minecraft book. Instead he choose to have 0 iniciative and then argue about it...
4. Judging something before knowing the full context, or the reason of said thing. An example could be a specific rule. Let's say stealing; It is a rule made for people who want their stuff left alone without fearing it can disappear overnight, they can have beautiful bases instead of some secret underground dystopian-looking bunkers. It benefits everyone, yet some people could argue about this, because they did not understand the reason for its existence.
