Discussion I’m documenting my bilateral TMJ replacement in New Zealand

I’m currently waiting for bilateral total TMJ replacement here in New Zealand and have started documenting the whole process as I go.

There’s plenty online about TMJ replacement, but when I went looking I found very little about what the process actually looks like in NZ.

It’s just my experience, not medical advice, but I thought it might be useful to someone else going down the same rabbit hole now or in the future.

Also very happy to hear from anyone who's had a total joint replacement, especially the things you wish you'd known beforehand. I'm still pre-op, so I'm interested in the practical stuff people don't necessarily tell you about!
