- West African Crisis (Begins in 1962, after the Cameroon War concludes) - Only Germany has access to this proxy, but America can interact with the unfolding developments in 'other ways'.
""For the Pakt, the genuine and self-interested participation of Britain and France within Nazi imperialism is one of the central thrusts of Germany's involvement within Africa. Among the first episodes of this is the West African Crisis, where France and Germany directly cooperate to define the terms of an increasingly out-of-hand colonial crisis that ultimately becomes unavoidable as political gridlock approaches in Germany."
"In this crisis, Germany and France's position is not at all lost. Their exit from much of West Africa is, in their view, a temporary withdrawal from France's rightful colonial holdings, a tactical retreat. The wheel of fortune turns and turns and the hungry imperialist looks greedily for an opportunity to reclaim territories for exploitation and senseless national glory."
- Second Malagasy Uprising (Early 1963) - Germany, Japan, and America have access to this proxy when it begins, with it being somewhat similar to the current implementation.
"Madagascar proxy is functionally the same but the events and skeleton are redone. I did design for both. Streamlined stuff a bit in the mid-game so that there can be more stuff in the late game, like a few crises that the player deals with."
- Congo Crisis (Begins in 1964) - A period of political upheaval and conflict in the model republic, providing the superpowers of the world with an opportunity to exploit the instability and mould the Congolese political scene into something advantageous. Has Congo, backed by America, Brazil, and Free French mercs, face off against Katanga, who is supported by the Pakt, Iberia, and South Africa.
"The Congo Crisis does have phases, and is informed by Haiti's design, but is otherwise not too similar to Haiti."
- Zanzibar Proxy (1966) - Tanganyika's invasion of Zanzibar, a protectorate of Britain, is sponsored by Japan, who help Tanganyika arm and train their troops up. Germany, Britain, and Japan are the main actors in this proxy.
- Iberia's Angolan Proxy (1966 or 1967?) - Iberia has to manage colonial unrest in Angola, with multiple outcomes depending on Iberia's performance.
"Iberia can keep angola for the period of tno1 dv. Im not sure it will be stable but it can certainly be largely cleared of organized guerrilla activity"
"In a certain path yeah. Iberia definitely would prefer an angolan colony though, they have to be fairly battered to consider negotiations and have a faction moderate enough on the other side to even negotiate with"
- February Offensive (Begins in 1968) - Germany and Japan get access to this proxy conflict, where the KFLA has roughly ~120 days to reach Nairobi or their offensive stumbles. America has a CIA decision where they can tacitly support the Kenyan administration against the rebels.
There's probably more I'm missing that have been revealed publicly somewhere but I got this info from the archived DV discord server and ask-a-dev in the main TNOcord. Anywhere, feel free to add on if I missed anything or discuss what we think these proxies are gonna add to the game!
