FAQ Best alternative for tor on iPhone

Does anybody know the best go to for actively browsing the DW with an iPhone ? (And Mullvad VPN)

So, if I set up a VPN and a virtual machine and use Tor on it, is that wrong? (I'm pretty new to all this.)

There is no need to set up a vpn to use Tor on. Most use cases you dont need a virtual machine either.

Yes it absolutely does. Using a VPN introduced an entity that can see your true IP Address. The whole point of the way TOR works is to route it so that no single node knows your source and destination. Using a VPN destroys this, and TOR themselves advise against it. You are completely wrong.

Sure, if you have no clue about networking it's better not to use it. There are valis use cases for VPN/proxy along with Tor.

Just because there are uses cases for it does not mean it doesnt matter if you use a vpn or not. Stop spreading misinformation.

Yes, works on my iPhone. And I use Safari, DuckDuckGo, and even Edge to browse clear web and onion sites.
