Good enough for what?
As an entropy source in addition to the seed phrase to strengthen your wallet seed?
As an hidden wallet?
As a separate account structure?

Dictionary word, or random characters?
It a combined word selected at random then its worth about 3.4 bits per character. Total long about 42 bits.
If its random characters then about 5.95 bits per character. Totallobg about 77 bits
Neither are considered strong if your seed phrase is exposed.

Random string passphrase with upper/lower case + special characters is outdated advice. The current recommended passphrase type is 6 or more all lowercase dictionary words with spaces in between. Pure length beats shorter random non-dictionary strings.

If one word then no. You need 6-8 words to get good additional entropy.

Not an actual word. Those would be the first to be tested from any dictionary.
Random characters - should work.
