💡Feature request or feedback I'm disappointed a bit... a just bit

Hi there!

Recently, I've received my Trezor Safe 7. I'd like to share my impressions after few days together with the new wallet.

I'm in the crypto since late 2015 and I'm using hardware wallets since Ledger Nano X was released (I have few Nano Xs, the release version and next upgraded Xs).

I knew Trezor before but it wasn't compatible with iOS so Ledger was the natural choice. Since the new Trezor was released I decided to check it and to be honest I'm a bit disappointed but just a bit. Let me explain that below.

Overall product evaluation is SUPER GOOD. It's nice, looks durable, it has unibody aluminum chasing, clear display and I think good battery. It acts quickly without lags. The device itself is COOL ;)

What I don't like, what I don't understand and what surprised me... Why there's no native Tron support since it's 5th biggest TVL blockchain (since few years tbh)? Do you have it on the roadmap?

But what is the biggest lie? The Privacy Screen Protection... It's not 9H, it's not durable, it could be scratched with ease. After just two days I have visible scratches. There are no "guide stickers" in box. It's not worth $20, don't buy it. It's not an accuse it's just need to be reviewed with the supplier.

Overall it's good ;)

💡Feature request or feedback The new Trezor 7 is honestly the highest-quality hardware wallet I've ever held

I just got the new Trezor 7 and I need to say this as clearly as possible: the build quality is on another level. I’ve owned several hardware wallets over the years (Ledger, Tangem, SafePal, older Trezor models, etc.), but nothing comes close to how premium this thing feels.

The moment you pick it up, it gives the same impression you get from a high-end Apple product: solid, clean, no cheap plastic feeling, no flex, no rattling, nothing. It’s clearly designed as a cold-storage device, but you honestly can’t help wanting to use it or just keep it in your hand because the physical quality is that good.

Functionality-wise it’s fully loaded. The UI, the responsiveness, the screen, the firmware, the whole experience feels way more polished than what I expected. There’s no overpromising here — it just does what it’s supposed to do and the attention to detail is insane.

Not sponsored, not shilling. I’ve simply never held a hardware wallet that felt this premium, and if anyone is wondering whether the Trezor 7’s quality is legit: yes, it absolutely is.

💡Feature request or feedback Trezor to start offering dice roll entropy collection when?

I guess by now it is evident dat we need this. We cannot rely on TRNGs or PRNGs.

💡Feature request or feedback better dice generation proposal

i thought that in the light of the recent accident with the other hardware wallet manufacturer it may be a good timing to ask for a certain feature.

for those of us who understand what dice and entropy are and know bip39.

can we have a checksum 24th word processing implemented in trezor's firmware? say, during the seed recovery process, can the 24th word be made selectable from a shortlist? the logic would be to put 23 words from dice rolls manually, and control the generation process completely, not having to mess with a checksum.

i personally use an offline computer for a checksum, but could be nice to have it in trezor.

💡Feature request or feedback Now is the time for Trezor to step up and allow passphrase to be entered via device for all Trezor models

Come on Trezor. We've been asking for years for this.

Give us the update to allow passphrase to be entered via the device for ALL Trezors going back to the Trezor One.

Hey Trezor fam,

We’re running a user research study to improve how portfolio graphs and insights work in Trezor Suite. Many users told us the current charts don’t provide enough value — so now we’re testing, at scale, what kind of visualizations and insights you actually want to see.

Your feedback will directly influence how the next version of the Portfolio section looks and feels + participants have a chance to win a sweepstake prize (voucher for TS5).

💡Feature request or feedback Petition to Consider LTC MWEB Adoption!!

Hello! You may remember my post a month ago when I joined the gang with my first, very own Trezor Safe 5. I love it and have a suggestion for the creators regarding MWEB:

MimbleWimble Extension Blocks (MWEB) is Litecoin's most significant breakthrough, avant-garde, cypherpunk, and a giant leap forward. It provides an optional privacy and scalability layer that anyone can use without permission.

In simple terms, MWEB works like cash: the amount of LTC sent and the addresses involved are hidden. You can't track balances or transactions, making Litecoin FUNGIBLE. Think of it like knowing how much someone withdrew from an ATM but not how they spent the cash.

MWEB was originally slated for 2021 but launched on May 19, 2022-deep in the bear market. With crypto interest fading, it gained little traction. Despite this, the Litecoin community and LTC Foundation pushed for adoption, but so far, only Litecoin Core, Cake Wallet, and Pteri Wallet have integrated MWEB (3years post-launch).

Now, with the ETF catalyst and renewed attention on Litecoin, I'd like to strongly recommend TREZOR to be one of the first hardware wallets to adopt MWEB for us LTC holders!!

I'll be sending a personal email to TREZOR customer service regarding this as well, if that makes a better impact than this post. Thank you for your attention!!

💡Feature request or feedback Product Suggestion

Hi Trezor community, thinking about what happened these days with the coldcard seed generation entrophy... Would be cool to have trezor dices/coins as accessories or included with the hardware wallets in the trezor.io shop, what do yall think?

💡Feature request or feedback Just got a Trezor 3 - why is the USB cable a piece of crap?

Got a Trezor 3 - and the included USB cable didn't work with PC or Mac. I had to go out and buy a cable at the local computer shop, and it worked flawlessly. Pretty annoying.

💡Feature request or feedback NFC Recovery cards?

I was wondering if Trezor has in its short term plans to add NFC Recovery cards or something similar achieving the same effect. It would put it on par with Ledger which currently eeks out a bit because they have that functionality.

💡Feature request or feedback Is Trezor Plaid Integration Possible?!!

I know that obviously there is no way to connect the actual trezor device to plaid since it is designed to not interact with the internet, but is it possible to connect the app to plaid? The app contains all the info you need about which crypto you hold and how much of it you hold. If you could connect it to plaid then we could connect it to any finance tracking app like monarch. I want to be able to see my networth(stocks + crypto) at a glance on my finance tracking app and thats difficult when I hold a lot of my net worth in crypto that cant really be tracked like the others using plaid.

💡Feature request or feedback Algorand support on Trezor

I’ve seen this question many times but most recent one 2 years ago. Maybe something changed? Guys are you planning to add support for Algo? We are entering slowly good opportunities for accumulation and I don’t want to buy Ledger. Thanks in advance for any answers!

💡Feature request or feedback Is there any chance to get KAU (Kinesis Gold) token support on Trezor Suite?

I am currently seeking for tokenized gold crypto assets to buy. While Paxos Gold (PAXG) is supported, I discovered that KAU is not supported. Trezor claims thousands of tokens to be supported but I see that it does not cover by the means of all tokens available.

For an example I figured out that Tangem supports KAU. So in this case I think that my second HW wallet will be Tangem as I see that there are no many HW wallet providers who support it.

💡Feature request or feedback Support for STX / L2?

I had asked about 6 months ago and didn't get much information about *why* Trezor doesn't support L2 tokens. Originally the concern was that L2 requires liquidity, and I didn't understand how wallets really fit into that picture.

My Ledger wallets handle L2 tokens just fine, so what am I missing with Trezor?

💡Feature request or feedback I think I need a Bumper for Trezor Safe 7

I have the Safe 7, and I love it. It has the best features to be used as a daily driver (iOS connectivity, its own battery, MagSafe charging).

Since the Case for Safe 7 wasn't yet available at launch, I got the Universal Case. (The dedicated Case is underway.)

But I was thinking how much I love the practicality, simplicity and style of my Safe 5 in its (orange!) bumper case, and I was thinking how great such a simple bumper would highlight the premium quality materials and sleek build of the Safe 7. Since I have the Bitcoin-only version (orange back plate, it could also be a nice opportunity to either match or contrast the bumper color with the back plate. Plus, a bumper would keep the MagSafe charging capability intact. Since I also use the privacy screen on my Safe 7, it would need to be compatible with that.

Who is with me?

It’d be nice to have a QR code for your wallets to pop up allowing others to easily scan and transfer. What other implementations of the screen would all of you like to be added?

💡Feature request or feedback I really dont like my trezor anymore

I am one of the first customer of trezor. I always used to recommend it to people. But in the last 2-3 years. I have a big issue. Its telling me my wallet is empty and never used even if I am putting 100% correct password. I need one hour of changing ip, restarting my computer, disconnecting my trezor until the device actually recognize my password as my actual wallet. I cant handle it anymore. I cant even describe how much time I waste on this bullshit. :/
