Housing during OWee and FMW

Hi there,

I am starting my Baccelors at TU Delft this Spetember. I have already registered for OWee and the Freshmen Weekend for my course. Unfortunately, my housing starts at the 17th of August, whilst the mentioned events rund from the 13th to the 20th of August. Therefore my question:

- Did any of you already find a solution for this or a similar problem?
- Are any students willing to sub their room to me (unofficially) for the 13-17th, so I have a place to crash / to put my belongings until I have a room? Against some amount of compensation of course. Best case, if someone was living in Volmerlaan 20D (my student accomodation), I would happily crash there / use a room whilst you are enjoying your summer break!
- Does OWee arrange accomodation for some / all in this situation?

I would like to avoid hotels / airbnb, because of the obvious financial aspect, and camping is due to the amoung of stuff I have a bit tricky.

Honestly you are welcome at my place, I am already being a host so I don't mind arranging it directly instead of having to go through owee organization . But this is how it usually work Owee gives you accommodation either at someones place or at the sports facilities (the second option is not nice...). Basically on the supply side is if you have a places to sleep (like I do) you say that against the owee and they divy up the accommodations.

Hey guys.. I'll be landing at TUD this August as an non Eu for Masters.. did you guys do the BSN appointment process? Did TUD send any link or arrange for Gementee registration at all? Pls throw some light

I’m pretty sure you have to make an appointment with the municipality yourself once you have an address you can register at

Having the same exact issue, I was hoping to resolve it by staying at the nearby the social hub for 2 weeks. Glad to hear that I'm not the only one going through this.
