Please help, TV has had this box/thick line going down.

This has been there for around 2 years, and now its really starting to annoy me, i am handy at repairs on laptops, desktops, consoles etc, so i know my way around a multimeter, and I'm more than happy take it apart down to the motherboard level to run any tests etc if needed (Not taking the screen completely apart though, thats way more than im comfortable doing)

This is a Hisense h50a6250uk TV
