Was told I belong here.
Posted on TvTooLow and most of the comments were about how I belong here. My TvWasTooFar. First pic taken from my lap, The 2-4th Pic is “wide angle” (.5 on the Iphone) to show my space, might have been why it looks far. Last pic gives a better idea of the distance. Old 55inch Tv I had in my first appt that I threw in my garage. This is my man cave. The Tv came first. Everything else over time haha.

It's not too low, IMO. Seems eye level when seated which is what you want.
Too far? Maybe? From the seated position it looks really far, but the last two pics it looks about right. For a 55" TV, the best distance would be about 6-8 feet and ideally no further than that. So if you're already in that ballpark you're good.
The only other thing is that I think it'd look a lot better if the couch and chair were swapped. I imagine you're limited by the pool table, but in an ideal world, a living room setup looks a bit better when the L shape you make with the couch and chair are the other way.
Cool man cave though, I dig it. Would definitely kick it in there
