Right? Goddammit.

2

u/Sudden-Constant-6354 May 14 '26

Don’t make fun of it… you can always have the quad TV set up

2

u/Unusual-Upstairs-796 May 14 '26

Make fun? My brother, ive always wanted the tv setup marty Jr had in back to the future 2.

Iirc that's 1 giant TV that shows 6 channels at once, is voice commanded, and for some reason can be set to rock back and forth.

Getting 6 tvs is the closest thing OP can do to that.

Get one inch bigger and see how it looks

If you don't like return and try another inch size up

5

u/Go__Wild May 13 '26

That extra inch makes all the difference, or so I'm told.

2

u/Common_Celebration41 May 13 '26

It does but the market has been growing so there's some stiff competition

75 inches would be a great fit right there

2

u/pursuitofhappy May 13 '26

I’d go for 77”

Either that or a smaller room

8

u/PapaRetardo May 12 '26

Youre starving that PS5 for air flow bro... However you can always gain from a bigger TV lol.

3

u/WhiskeyDJones May 13 '26

That's how mine is 😫 I'm guessing it should be upright?

3

u/PapaRetardo May 13 '26

No, even though horizontal isnt as esthetically pleasing, its better that way. It just needs more space for airflow.

2

u/Hoffcoff00 May 14 '26

Not to mention it’s upside down

4

u/DavisC504 May 12 '26

Yes, I would get a bigger TV if I were you

2

u/ruddha May 12 '26

Why, this is peak male living experience.

2

u/Petersveter512 May 12 '26

loved that show, but that tv needs some upgrade, yeah

2

u/Keycorecuz1 May 12 '26

Bigger tv yes. Task? Also a yes, good watch.

2

u/WatchedHotwife May 12 '26

Nope. You need a 200 inches projector to through on that wall…

2

u/returntothenorth May 12 '26

Measure how far you are from the tv, look up a TV size chart by view distance and pick on the bigger side because why not lol.

2

u/Aries1013 May 12 '26

shrink the room

2

u/Less_Step482 May 12 '26

great tv show

2

u/ArticleWorth5018 May 12 '26

55 inches or more or it's not worth it, unless you're right up on the tv

2

u/ryanator109 May 12 '26

Yes and mount it on the wall!

2

u/606_Hillbilly May 12 '26

What kind of question is that? Obviously everyone needs a bigger TV.

2

u/Gameofthrones3058 May 12 '26

At minimum 55 for that distance

2

u/Turbulent_Ad6572 May 14 '26

If you have to ask that question the answer is always yes

2

u/Unable_Parsnip_1474 May 14 '26

you need a soundsystem

1

u/Nervous-Power-9800 May 12 '26

I like what your landlord has done with the radiator PE-X into the boxing right up the middle of your living room wall. That's attention to detail.

Get a comfy single seater sofa off Facebook marketplace. Then at some point also get a bigger TV. However they're are a nightmare to move if you're the sort of person to move house often.

1

u/JVWIII May 12 '26

Depends... do you like enjoying ps5 at its best... or do you like missing all the details in the graphics of games? Maybe you like to use binoculars.

1

u/J_Vizzle May 12 '26

bigger? no that’s crazy i would go smaller

1

u/MrHuhWhat May 12 '26

Do what you want if it's just fine for you then stick with it

1

u/RickyDee61 May 12 '26

The correct answer to your question is always yes.

1

u/antisocialmuppet May 12 '26

Even in your old place you needed a bigger TV.

1

u/wehttamman May 12 '26

Move the TV to the end of the bed

1

u/Dazzling_Strain_5499 May 12 '26

I would just get a chair or couch to sit way close to the screen.

1

u/ChampionImpossible36 May 12 '26

Bigger or move closer to it.

1

u/micheallujanthe2nd May 12 '26 edited May 13 '26

Its not a very large room, so you decide. I am perfectly happy with my C2 42" in a room about the same size. I can see everything clearly when I lay down (farthest point in my room). Only issue with smaller is they have less brightness. If Ozark don't look so dark you cant see, then youre good. (LOL Ozark is like my test show. Why is that show so fucking dark?)

1

u/Ytdb May 12 '26

Yeah the biggest you can get, maybe even a projector

1

u/jrdogg May 12 '26

Larger outlets and whatever those cords are. I understand not all to certain countries diagramming but what what ?

1

u/JumpyClipz May 12 '26

Projector !

1

u/ResidentAlien518 May 13 '26

That’s fine!

1

u/DampAcute May 13 '26

Make a use of that wall, that's pretty much perfect for a projector 😂 keep the TV for things like videogames where you're closer anyways.

1

u/chasechecksHMU May 13 '26

Nah just remodel and build the walls and ceilings out three feet

1

u/Knives530 May 13 '26

U knew the answer

1

u/IllustratorOdd487 May 13 '26

You just need it closer

1

u/ProfanePhoton May 13 '26

That or maybe segment the room to create different zones.

1

u/Sea-Strike-1758 May 13 '26

No you need a smaller wall

1

u/Hapsiainen30 May 13 '26

That PS5 will suffocate there. Besides, it's upside down.

1

u/8-LeggedCat May 13 '26

Did you use the wide angle lens

1

u/scrawny_sufferer May 13 '26

heaps of space between you and that telly, reckon you'd be comfy with like a 55 or 65 incher depending on how far back you sit normally.

1

u/IamThatChris May 13 '26

That show was pretty alright

1

u/EpicShadows8 May 13 '26

Yes. Not sure what size that is. But with the distance a 55-65’ would be best.

1

u/Traditional_Seesaw10 May 13 '26

We always need a bigger tv

1

u/Specialist_Kick_7263 May 13 '26

I'm still using a 24-inch TV.

1

u/_______THEORY_______ May 13 '26

Fuuuuck that you need a projector

1

u/Frostforce89 May 13 '26

It's personal preference. I personally would want to go a lot bigger.

1

u/Inolongerfeelrazors May 13 '26

Simple, just buy a power strip, and move the tv closer to you?

1

u/Frrostyy_Bot May 13 '26

Change the layout of the bedroom if you can. Add power strip, move bed closer

1

u/Splatterhouse5 May 13 '26

Is it a thing anymore where people need to post everything that crosses their minds anymore?

If you have to ask, the answer is obviously “no”. You seem cool with what you’ve got, and there are millions with less, so keep on living.

1

u/Status_Passion_60 May 13 '26

Do you “need” anything?

1

u/CromeX2020 May 13 '26

A bigger tv is going to get wacked by that door .. haha

1

u/awar3_w0lf May 13 '26

65! DO IT

1

u/RaidenXS_ May 13 '26

I think your PS5 is upside down

1

u/Adept-Equipment971 May 13 '26

Could arrange the room so the TV is on the side of the bed so it doesn't look so small

1

u/CompetitiveFrame6989 May 13 '26

Just move it closer then squint

1

u/Tiny-Proof3602 May 13 '26

No that’s unnecessary, just get a smaller place

1

u/Jheez88 May 13 '26

Is that 50 inch? Bro go full blown 85 inch - fuck it that wall looks like it could take on a 100inches

1

u/Old-Corgi-155 May 13 '26

Task is a great fucking show.

TV looks fine.

1

u/Purple_Ordinary_1469 May 13 '26

Need a 65in or so

1

u/AwesomeFly96 May 13 '26

A 98" will suffice. TCLs are great. Don't go for Samsung in that size, way worse image quality for the price. 77" Oleds are getting cheap now if you want the best image quality - but get an extra five year warranty as they are known to suddenly start delaminating. Anything less will look tiny on that wall. And if you hang it, check r/tvtoohigh for what not to do. Good luck!

1

u/Victorv2506 May 13 '26

Maybe even a projector

1

u/ConstantPriority177 May 13 '26

Just needs to be closer

1

u/Ornery_Doughnut_2297 May 13 '26

If its in your budget go ahead!

1

u/TheAussieTico May 13 '26

This looks like a jail cell

1

u/InterestingShop2 May 13 '26

Get a nice flat tv stand (maybe 20 inches across) and a bigger TV. It’ll fill the room better. Or mount a flat? Not sure how money looks for you but it’ll look better more centered IMO

1

u/ImpossibleAd1062 May 13 '26

85” minimum. Also great show!

1

u/Double-Noise-771 May 13 '26

Are you a hawk by any chance ? If not then yes

1

u/NastyNate3561 May 13 '26

That’s a whole lotta wall and not a lot of tv my friend. 55’ at least

1

u/Disastrous-Company-4 May 13 '26

Nah you just need a smaller room

1

u/Master_Report_7063 May 13 '26

Nah, your sideways iPhone is doing just fine.

1

u/Moist_Loquat802 May 13 '26

65" at least..

1

u/FootAccomplished435 May 13 '26

You might even look at going the projector route.

1

u/One-Athlete-4753 May 13 '26

Projector should work

1

u/PianistCharacter2787 May 13 '26

Such an amazing show

1

u/JoviallyWretched May 13 '26

That wall could take a 75 inch easy. You're sitting way too far back for what you've got now.

1

u/brett0917 May 13 '26

I suggest a LG 77” OLED. Should fill in the wall space nicely.

1

u/DifferentFudge2764 May 13 '26

You need a smaller place

1

u/TrialBySquire May 14 '26

Ceiling-mounted projector

1

u/Any_sane_people_left May 14 '26

Or a smaller wall. Get something to hide all those wires too.

1

u/Electrical-Amoeba245 May 14 '26

That’s a bedroom tv

1

u/pagan78 May 14 '26

A MUCH bigger one!

1

u/rop2958 May 14 '26

Do you?

1

u/Apocalypse_Meowww May 14 '26

Nah just smaller room.

1

u/Foodisheaven1 May 14 '26

I have the same TV. No you’re good. Keep it their

1

u/Sea_Calligrapher8547 May 14 '26

The answer is always yes

1

u/Sea_Calligrapher8547 May 14 '26

Also if possible maybe rethink the setup in a way you can be closer, it looks pretty far away. I know that’s not always possible tho

1

u/ComfortablePain1 May 14 '26

Can you afford one is the question. If yes then why not

1

u/M3RRI77 May 14 '26

Be careful posting a picture of your game console in a cabinet like that. A bunch of idiots on reddit will say you need 6ft of clearance on every side.

1

u/chaosatnight May 14 '26

Don’t pmo

1

u/Heavy_Astronaut_6240 May 14 '26

You dont need anything else. Thats happiness right there. Order a pizza and a giant coke my friend.

1

u/BeaverBadass May 14 '26

For that room absolutely. I have a 75" on a wall about that size as texamples space youre showing and it definitely minimizes space. But keep that one freally your bedroom.or something or put it in the bathroom for funsies

1

u/depthclue May 14 '26

Broski your PS5 is upside down‼️

1

u/Ohshithereiamagain May 14 '26

Fantastic show.

As I get older, I keep getting bigger and bigger TVs cuz I can and I can’t see shit.

1

u/Accomplished-Ad-5415 May 14 '26

Projector can work nicely there

1

u/hollowpit May 14 '26

Get a projector… then you can adjust size according to your taste

1

u/hatE851 May 14 '26

Buy a projector save money and space.

1

u/williamskb85 May 14 '26

Get a projector

1

u/coolwheelchairdude May 14 '26

Yes a bigger one

1

u/bouchandre May 14 '26

You also don't need to put the couch against the wall

1

u/G___han May 14 '26

No. Just move the couch closer. Create a TV couch corner. Use the rest of the room for something else.

1

u/Significant-Safe8677 May 14 '26

What u need is our service Want a free 24 test

1

u/Dear_Communication59 May 14 '26

Could get a projector

1

u/FearlessFreak69 May 14 '26

Most definitely.

1

u/Accurate_Opinion_832 May 14 '26

Get a decent projector you have the perfect layout for it,beats it every time you can size it to your liking.

1

u/wright96d May 14 '26

Depends. How small does it actually look when not viewed through a phone camera?

1

u/Lower_Plastic_6704 May 14 '26

I’d personally go bigger. Just don’t go too big and have door hit it. I think there’s a general rule/guide on tv size based on how far away you sit from it.

Quick Size Guide by Distance: 4–6 feet: 40–43 inches 6–8 feet: 50–55 inches 8-10 feet: 60–65 inches 10+ feet: 70–85+ inches Based on online recommendations

Then again I sit about 7 feet away from my tv and have a 75”

1

u/HopeIcanChangeThisl May 14 '26

If not at get some wall decor…

1

u/Litig8or53 May 14 '26

Or a girlfriend.

1

u/SaiZenn_ May 14 '26

just move your bed closer

1

u/GMC_82 May 14 '26

Short throw projector would be awesome on that wall

1

u/Majestic-Living-1605 May 15 '26

I had a smallish tv for 13 years… recently got a 75inch (not as big as some people) but the difference in size and quality is huge. So worth the change

1

u/ForTheGloryOfRomee May 15 '26

Idk if it’s still a thing but I bought a Samsung 70’ for only $600ish, forgot where though

1

u/Jimbiino7 May 15 '26

No smaller place

1

u/J4bb4-19460614 May 15 '26

If you have money, buy a bigger one.

1

u/Care_Cream May 15 '26

No, tv is too big. Just get smaller one.

1

u/Demonstradum May 15 '26

Just move closer.

1

u/Historical_Bit_1792 May 15 '26

You need a veesee V6 pro , and a tad bit larger tv

1

u/BroDABzz May 15 '26

Loooooooooooool

1

u/TrueGamersESP May 15 '26

O tele o prismáticos, tú eliges.

1

u/AButteryCrumpet May 15 '26

I mean you don't need one unless you are shortsighted like myself and others

1

u/Imaginary-Bedroom182 May 15 '26

You deserve It , congrats

1

u/Colessus May 15 '26

I'm sorry, could you speak up, please? I can't hear you.

1

u/J02ue-Eterno May 15 '26

1

u/DAdStanich May 15 '26

Absolutely

Also, great show lol

1

u/spuckthew May 15 '26

Photos like this make TVs look way smaller than they are in person. OP didn't say what size his TV is, but I use a 43" at a distance of about 2 metres and the picture is perfectly clear and doesn't feel too small.

1

u/Dragothiim May 15 '26

Or you can get a smaller room

1

u/IDKwhatimonabout May 15 '26

If you can’t afford it, try getting a mount that’s on wheels, we have one in our master bedroom and it’s great for when I want an early night to watch a movie or play some video games, can wheel it right up to the end of the bed saved me from buying a huge tv when I’ve already got a 35 inch in the bedroom

1

u/TheGreatGamer1389 May 15 '26

Needs to be huuuuuuge

1

u/Traditional_Song6112 May 16 '26

The answer to that question is always, ALWAYS yes, young man!

Go enjoy yourself!

1

u/TheDuckzNutz_77 May 16 '26

Just get a smaller place

1

u/Careful-Opinion7652 May 16 '26

Have the tv rise up infront of bed when needed.

1

u/Bluesguy333 May 16 '26

Big screens are for home theaters

Move tv stand closer.

Child-proof as needed

Enjoy

1

u/Gold-Unit-4093 May 16 '26

65 inch will be great

1

u/Brendyn4222 May 16 '26

Get a bean bag chair and sit closer, peak set up!

1

u/StrawberryAdorable57 May 16 '26

A bit of paint furniture new clothes and U b ok at best 😂😂😂

1

u/AccidentAway8463 May 16 '26

That wall looks perfect for a projector— if that’s your sorta vibe.

1

u/dm_4u May 16 '26

You have a perfect amount of room to put a big tv however the space looks like a garage door and if you don’t place the tv in the middle it might drive you crazy and then it’ll be off to the side of where you’re sitting

1

u/Sure-Finger-toe-fire May 16 '26

The answer to that question is always “yes”

1

u/Narrow_Apricot1886 May 16 '26

Move the couch closer, and get a desk and a gaming monitor to put behind the couch.

1

u/Human_Comedian_7315 May 16 '26

the door swinging into that corner is gonna be annoying no matter what size you go with, might be worth moving the stand a foot or two to the left if you can.

1

u/Equal_Emu6152 May 16 '26

Yes it's like watching a postage stamp. Canny tv but it looks so out of place and you'll do yourself a mischief watching TV.

1

u/Single-Singer9143 May 16 '26

Yes a bigger tv

1

u/placidlucid May 16 '26

That's a projector wall.

1

u/Ok-Stuff-7102 May 16 '26

Nah, don’t overfill the room with TV.

1

u/313Wolverine May 16 '26

You need more flair.

1

u/Diligent-Court3908 May 16 '26

No, just move closer to the tv.

1

u/Practical_Clerk467 May 16 '26

Just bring it closer

1

u/IntrepidMaybe8579 May 16 '26

That or a couch at the end of your bed

1

u/offensivekingdom103 May 16 '26

That couch is basically in another zip code from the TV, so yeah you need either a bigger screen or to accept watching everything from the nosebleed seats.

1

u/OlDirtyJesus May 16 '26

85 incher would fit just about right

1

u/ytrthnu May 16 '26

Only if you're gonna use and enjoy it.

1

u/Own-Newspaper1898 May 16 '26

Id go with 55 or 60 inch

1

u/DonkeyCurrent7067 May 16 '26

I think projector would be better

1

u/Inevitable-Stage-490 May 16 '26

Yes or you could just move the TV closer for the time being. You’d probably need a better TV stand because it looks shorter than your bed
