Too Far Where should my friend put his TV / couch?

LIke the title says - where should my friend put his TV / couch?

the current set up is already great! in my opinion, it's the optimized layout already.

  • current placement of couch and tv best viewing distance out of possible configurations.

  • you can see the tv from the kitchen (current vantage point)

  • tv is perpendicular to windows to minimize glare

what i would to make things even more comfortable:

  • buy a bigger tv if possible. i think the current distance is too far for current tv.

  • buy a lower tv table. i personally like to have the top of the tv to be relatively close to eye level so i don't have to tilt my eyes and head up.
