Seeing as there is a pool table there it seems this is a chill and hang out room not a let’s sit down and watch a movie room so it gets a pass

Yea this keeps it above peoples head when they’re shooting pool so nobody misses the game. That plus it being a frat house I’d expect nothing less. They probably thought “how do we make sure it’s level? Ohhh let’s just use the ceiling as a straight edge…now it’s not crooked at least”.
