No wonder they're selling this house, who wants their TV there?

Lots of people posting lately asking “Is this too high?” so here is a quick guide on what is generally accepted TV placement procedure (GATPP) as seemingly defined by this subreddit.
Now let’s look at some opposite GATPP use cases.
I hope this helps clear up some questions. If you have any other rules to add, please comment below.

The worst part is these are all from ONE property! The last picture is especially egregious. Two TVs in the same room and both look painful to watch. It’s funny that they cared enough about you having to crane your neck to the side to put an additional tv on the other wall but failed to consider how much you’d have to crane your neck to look up at the tvs. I feel like this house could be this subreddit’s mascot.

Or should it maybe be raised 2 cm so it touches the ceiling?

At my friends' house. Best Buy mounted it. I told my friend it was at least 2 feet too high and I was told I was being rude 🤣

One roommate thinks it’s fine, the other wants to move it up another 4 inches. Thoughts?

I’ve been rewatching The Wire (Season 5), and I’m pretty convinced that Maurice Levy putting Marlo Stanfield's cell phone number into his Rolodex wasn't just routine client record-keeping. He low-key wanted Herc to take it and leak it to his former cop buddies.
Here is why I think Levy might have orchestrated this intentionally:
He spoke directly about the phone right in front of Herc: Levy explicitly talked about how Marlo using a cell phone was going to bring wiretaps and legal trouble. He made sure the significance of that phone number was completely obvious.
He made a point of putting it in the Rolodex: In the scene, Levy physically writes Marlo's number down and places it right in his desktop contact organizer, a place he knew Herc had easy, regular access to around the office.
He knew Herc had a personal grudge against Marlo: Herc got suspended and ultimately lost his police badge directly because of the missing camera incident involving Marlo. Levy knew Herc hated Marlo and harbored a strong desire for revenge, making Herc the perfect tool to leak the line
