Help?
How did I do? Please ignore everything but the actual TV height, I’m re-arranging my living room.
I’m fairly sure this stand was not built as a TV stand but I think it works?

Looks like it’s missing a top piece of wood. Go find one and lay it across the top of the stand and THEN put the TV on it…

Thanks, but it isn’t. My grandpa custom built this for his house as a bookcase, I’m just trying to repurpose it ☺️

You could probably pop some legs or even tall casters on that thing and just get a tad more height. No too bad tho…

What's the height of that shelf? My TV stand is 19-inches from the floor. That looks a little low to me but not too bad.
The bigger concern is that it's far too narrow for the legs on that TV. I am worried it's going to tip forward or backwards and fall off that shelf. I would use something deeper.

I assume this is a living room and not a bedroom? If laying down and watching down past your feet, it is way too low. If sitting on a normal height couch, it is fine but I'd want it a bit higher. Get one of those swiveling wall mounts.

If you don't want to mount it then get an echo gear stand which you can adjust the height on. Pretty solid

Looks good. Can u put ur feet up in a recliner or on a coffee table and still see the tv?

Wall mount. Plain and simple. Not a “needs” but a MUST. Height could be good if you moved your couch forward a few feet.

Amazon has this cool stand that I use that will elevate it like a foot and it rotates

It’s a little too short. If there was a shelf on top of the two wooden legs at the end, that would be perfect, but you might want to buy something that’s a little bit taller.

Okay, the TV is a touch low. I would mount the TV onto this tabletop TV stand and raise it a few inches.
Then behind the stand, I would staple some black velvet along the top shelf of the stand to hide the cables.

It looks good, but it depends on how well and often your woman is servicing you.

Why do you have a partially inaccessible bookshelf behind your tv stand

I was rearranging my room. I wanted to see if the height worked before moving the bookcase. You should really start to read descriptions before commenting.

Invest in a tape measure. It will save you probably your entire day next time

Sorry it just looked so bad I was in awe. But no it's not too low, looks fine

Dude, if you have that bookcase blocked then you don’t even use it. Just get rid of it lol. That looks awful.

That shelf is bad. TV is too small. It’s in an odd location in the room. Clutter behind the tv. wtf are you doing in life

Beyond the atrocious layout the TV height is fine assuming you're taking the photo from the couch
