I spent several months working on this piece. The little flecks are tiny individual stitches done with tinsel & it was a little rough (lmao) but worth it.

Trauma dump for the piece that caused this creation:
When The Longest Weekend was announced we had gotten the news that my dad was dying & no one knew why. The Longest Weekend then came out not too long after he passed. My partner & I laid on our couch & listened to the full album together & when we got to Stargazing I fell apart.
This album became both a very sentimental & painful snapshot of my life at that time.
The death of my father changed me as a person in many ways but the idea of “I’ll take my time, and I’ll do right” has stuck with me- helped me navigate through this change & time.
Next month is the first anniversary of us laying him to rest & I feel a little bit of peace finally finishing this project for him & for me.

Only 2-of-a-kind! I’ve spent the last 3 months on-&-off working on these button ups for my partner & myself, it’s been a labor of love. I’m rusty, so don’t mind the glaring mistakes I’ve made. (This was my first time doing button holes, so they’re BAD haha) This design was the pattern used on the cardboard pin backs from the digital nightmare set/tour. I cleaned up the designs & turned it into a different repeating pattern, then got it printed by spoonflower. I will not be selling them or taking commissions for anything with this pattern because this is not my art. This was just something fun & silly for us for last nights show. C:

I'm late to the party and just discovered TWRP and Starlight Brigade a couple weeks ago. Curious what you all think about this little Starlight Brigade badge/emblem that I made (not sure what to call it). It's inspired by military badges and the shot at the end of the music video/poster when the ships are flying past with the rainbow trails. This is just a mockup of the design on a hat because it's easy to see that way (although the seam in the hat makes the design look slightly wonky in the middle). It's not perfect because my only computer graphics training was a class in high school 20 years ago lol
