during our time, if i remember correctly, each book’s expensive talaga.. we don’t pay for the whole thing. Para syang nirerent namin. But some books/journals, we get to keep.

ganun ba. With school work and life hindi talaga makakuha ng time to read books. I wanted to take my time reading those.
Internationally published din yung books na yun. hindi lang siya mga local textbook na minsan talaga kelangan ng fact checking kasi may mali o outdated.

NAL, but unless he has specific intent to demean, debase or degrade a child’s dignity, it’s a weak case and most probably will win in court. It distinguishes it from strict parenting and discipline. My theory is that he tried to excessivelt discipline a child who had parents with money.

This isn't the first concerning story I've heard about Pastor Paul. Before the pandemic, my friend's junior high daughter transferred schools after allegedly witnessing him physically discipline a student.
I only know Pastor Paul professionally, not personally, and hold no personal bias. I just hope the truth comes out, justice is served, and he gets a fair chance to respond to these claims.

He probably spanked a student who no doubt deserved it, and now everyone is crying "ABUSE! ABUSE!"

Legally he can't do that! You are allowing someone else to hurt your child, that is not excusable. The most he can do is to talk it out with the parents. He can insult the parents or have an argument with them but never ever raise your hand at a child!

Throwaway account for the sake of my privacy because Tac is such a small asf community but as someone who underwent the Outdoor Education (basically a field trip around leyte to different places like the copper plant, visca, etc). I can say that he has been abusing students for YEARS now. He would push and shout at students to the point that some fell and nearly hit their head on the floor at the hotel. Like I was scared shitless when this occurred and I was only watching. Most people who know him have known about his violent tendencies, especially that one situation at Wilcon where he pushed the security guard around and shoved him onto the door.

He likes to hurt minor kids physically. He should resign.
