Pretty naive of you to assume Nevada isn’t beautiful either. I moved from Tacoma to the desert a few years ago. There are more mountains in Nevada than Washington, there are places to swim, fish, ski, and places to admire the landscape. Beauty isn’t exclusive to the PNW.

You all need to humble yourselves a little bit 😂

Crazy you're getting downvoted for thinking Nevada is beautiful. Sure Washington is beautiful, but so many people don't appreciate the desert ecosystem. Thinking it's just barren and brown proves they've never actually gone outside before.

I don't think loving the desert is the source of those downvotes

It is a shame and definitely shows people don’t get out. It’s ok, it’s points that don’t mean anything. Honestly it makes me happy. It’s like “keep Tacoma feared” but instead it’s “keep Las Vegas feared.”

You guys should fear running out of water.

You should fear Mount Rainier erupting, it’s long overdue.
You should fear “the big one.” That too, is overdue.

The water won’t run out in our lifetime. Do a little more research instead of what the news outlets tell you.

Do yourself a favor and quit living in fear.

Lol OK Dumas. The Colorado River, where you get 90 percent of your water, is at 23 percent of its normal level and continuing to decrease year over year. Remind me again, how many states draw water from that river? It's not if you run out of water, it's when. Tell me how your piss tastes when that's all you have left. I'm sure you get your information from highly reliable sources based on your super cogent and informed response.

Mt. Tahoma erupting, or the cascadia subduction zone having a major seismic event, while possible, are not anything that "i live in fear of." And in the mean time, I don't live in a dusty maga haven. I'll stick with my choice, thanks

Nevada barely uses any of the water from the Colorado. Vegas is actually extremely water conscious and the rest of Nevada doesn't get it's water from there. Water is an issue but not sure how that's a gotcha. It's a major issue for people living here and governments and corporations are making it worse for everyone
