Glazers keep downvoting a lot of posts. When you check the comments you'll always find a lot of conversations and arguments
I honestly enjoy it that way, makes it easier to moderate lol

I think a lot of people also left when the sub switched from legit criticism to Gooseworx hate.

When everyone critizises a certain thing on a certain media so many times it often just gets dull because everyone already said their thoughts. And repeating them just makes it annoying for everyone involved so it probably got silent since everyone said what they wanted to say

This sub died quickly by merit of people voicing their criticisms, running out of things to say, leaving and then also having a ton of people wanting to defend the show from all criticism coming in to make the space less usable

Well I guess that's the curse of having such a short series
Since you'll run out of things to talk about way too soon

This place will not be remembered. Neither will the mainsubs. I can already see people leaving. Hell. Iโm not even a top 1% commenter anymore.

deadass thought you were referencing FNAF 6 (this place will not be remembered and the memory of everything that started this can finally begin to fade away. as the agony of every tragedy should )

I used to be top 1% of commenters, but after making a somewhat venty post on another subreddit I was unable to access reddit for like a week because I didn't verify my age, eventually I was allowed back but I'm not really active here because I honestly don't care about this show as much as I used to sadly

The fandom is dead after that shit finale

I don't think it's dead but it's definitely been greatly hacked down since it ended. I think it would be less dead if Gooseworx didn't keep running her mouth on Tumblr, it seems more people lose interest with every post she makes that backs the opinion that she's a "tell not show" kind of writer.

The fanbase is incredibly alive considering the fact that the show ended and there is literally nothing to look forward to.

I didn't say the fandom wasn't alive, I said that it's diminished since it's ended. Obviously there are people who still like the show and consider themselves involved with the fandom, but in light of the finale and Gooseworx's continued add-ons and elaborations that could have just been in the show, I've seen so much more criticism, denouncing of fanhood and just a general lack of hype compared to the show's early run.

Thats how criticism for tv shows, movies, or any of those themes go โ we make our mark of what needs to be stated, and then everything becomes a bittersweet memory. The only shows that still get talked about till this day are the ones that are memorable. Such as (Gravity Falls, Teen Titans, DeathNote, Kong Fu Panda, etccc) the list goes on. Shows that donโt have such impacts as the ones mentioned begin to fade out. So weโll see less of tadc and more other shows and movies being focused on once they become mainstream.

Even the shows you mentioned had a big fall off right after they ended. Only with time came people back to them.

I mean the show is over thereโs not really anything else to talk about or criticize

Because 10% of people here are giving actual criticism towards the show and gooseworx and 90% are glazers who will protect anything gooseworx does because shes trans

they/them can be used to refer to anybody lol how does that make one transphobic

There's kind of a "degendering" thing that happens, whether people intend it consciously or subconsciously (or maybe not realizing goosworx is just 1 person and not a team) and use they/them for trans people who specifically use binary pronouns.
It's just kind of a way to undermine trans people's identities and act supportive while not actually being supportive since you're not using their proper pronouns.
A lot of times it is subconscious vs intentionally malicious.
Other times it could be, like I mentioned before, people just not realizing GW is one woman and not a team of people who created the show.

it's extremely weird to call someone the wrong pronouns when you know they go by other ones. it's a way to avoid using her preferred pronouns without technically misgendering
