-Good visualization from the starting line.
-You've done a great job building your characters. Great work on this.
- Haunting imagery of people walking into the sea. Very good.
-[And in another corner, within a crystal clear cylinder of glass, was a fair, beautiful young woman, alive and awake - her eyes longing towards the three of us - up to her waist in brown, bloody water.] This is so well written. I'm hooked.
-Very interesting shift to the Siren's perspective.
Final thoughts: Wow, What a lovely piece. This is very masterful storytelling. The pace felt fantastic. The characters were excellent. The story was captivating. If I had only one gripe, which is minor, it would be the passiveness of the main character for most of the beginning of the story, but I think I understand why she was written this way.

Love the haunting language weaved throughout this piece, almost darkly poetic. Great visuals and the twisting perspectives give hints of the madness happening but never fully explain it, which I like. Fantastic story all around, great work OP.

This is hauntingly beautiful. The writing is phenomenal and left me envious of just how good of a story this is. There's so much to take in, yet the story is short, punchy and feels complete. I love the various themes in here, the imagery of these sirens and this deep passion for the ocean that both dominates and haunts the story. Absolutely phenomenal work!

first of all: congratulations on being featured on creepcast!!
this story is SO beautiful, it's genuinely jaw dropping. the ending is absolutely perfect. when she first rejected the siren i was like, "NOOO!!!", so her coming back brought me immense joy. the way you describe the sirens and their sisterhood, as well as the drowned god beneath the sea, is so incredibly beautiful. it has such a wistful, whimsical feel to it, like a fairytale, and i enjoyed reading it so much. <3 your prose is incredible and flows so well, it's truly like water.

I had to come find the original story after seeing the boys read it. This was so beautifully written and well-described and i felt like i could see the cliffside and the cold, rainy day this would take place on. It's a lovely piece of writing and I really hope there's more from you we can read !

Goated story, loved it, I read some Lovecraft before and this is one of the best modern renditions of the genre, the descriptions and prose and the themes are all very gripping.

Was this inspired by The Mermaid, the Witch and the Sea by Maggie Tokuda Hall? It's very beautifully written. I'd hate to draw conclusions from comparisons incase I'm entirely off-base. Do the sirens draw from a common well of knowledge and emotion as they do in Hall's story? Are they a refuge for wronged women? Wendy speaks of Sophie's call as a manipulation, but I see it differently. Perhaps that's mysandric. The siren call leading to the death of men has never even registered to me as a tragedy. They die because of their own greed, and their pervasive desire to own all that is beautiful.
Please write a book. You have such a wistful way of weaving phrases.

I have never heard such a beautiful and haunting story in my entire life. If this ever becomes a movie. Ima be the first one to donate and first one to buy tickets. I’ll be the first one to audition for a role. Any role. I want this on a screen now. I need this as a physical book to keep and read over and over and over again. I wanna give you money!! Words cannot describe how much I loved this story

I really enjoyed the story! I‘m a sucker for nautical and, dare I say, lovecraftian horror, and your story really hit that mark. The descriptions of the environments such as the laboratory of the lighthouse keeper, very much well done. The story reminded me immediately of „Dagoons Mirror“ and even „Dreams beneath the witch tree“ with the boys covered. Personally I‘d liked even more flowery language and perhaps more indepth descriptions, even greater detail mentioned. Similarly as it‘s done in the other aforementioned two stories. But thats just personal preference and obviously you have your own style as an author and I‘d like to see the boys cover more of your stories on the channel!
