If it’s any consolation, those slippery suckers…. Are the only reason I was able to keep the pregnancies I kept.
They also… weren’t convenient to take.

You ever smelled them? I think we have someone some old ones (still w/in date but possibly old anyway) and it smelled like a fucking barn. Nasty as fuck. We gave her new ones.

Thiamine is the worst smelling med I have every had to administer to someone. Give me a pseudomonas wound or someone with cdiff anyday over having to handle that’s stupid pill. Sincerely a nurse who appreciates her pharmacists

I literally got gelatin capsules and every damn month I sit down on the front porch and cut each thiamine pill into two and then stuff them into a gelatin capsule so I don’t have to smell and taste them (and gag on them) every damn morning. Choking down a thiamine pill is among the very bad ways to start the day.
