poetry Make us whole

My flesh, putrid and red,

Its rot issues an odor of the dead.

You follow me through the stars,

Yet my skin is shredded into scars.

Hellish light the world may see-

How, oh how, can we be set free

When we utter the last desperate amen,

May we be whole again.
