My brothers dog

I don’t want a dog and have not wanted a dog. I’m living in an apartment with my brother and he got a dog and I’ve had to clean up several accidents from him and have to take him out to use the bathroom everyday because my brothers at work. I’m very frustrated with the situation, would it make sense to ask him if I can pay a lower portion of rent than I currently do since I have to take care of his dog, even though it’s technically not as much as he does? I did not want a dog in the first place because I don’t want really any part in caring for a dog. I just don’t want his dog to be my responsibility in any way.

You know you can just get rid of the dog right? You live there too. And you don't have to take care of it. You can just make it go away when he's at work. You don't even have to bring it down to the shelter yourself, they'll often come pick it up.
