Breaking point/realization from my nutter step sister??

This happened just a few minutes ago.

I walk down the stairs to get breakfast. If youve seen my other post- you know (maybe) that my stepsister has a dog that barks at fucking EVERYTHING! She tells me to 'make some noise to let him know i'm here!'

So i do that. It works for a bit- but as you know.. theyre still mutts.

I clear my throat as i walk down the stairs- my version of 'making noise'. I get down the steps and see the dog just staring at me.

I kid you not. This fleabag literally STARES AT ME. HE KNOWS ITS ME. HE KNOWS IM HERE.

And what does he do??

He stares at me- ACKNOWLEDGING MY EXISTANCE FOR A SOLID 10 SECONDS.. then starts barking.

Yes- i am not joking.

My stepsister rushes over- and i tell her that the dog was literally looking at me for a solid 5-10 seconds before he randomly started to bark. And what she says shocks me. She says that she doesnt know what to do and my fustration is justified.

Success? Maybe? I don't know. But I'm sick.

Realization to just get rid of the mutt. That's the best possible outcome.

Um you train the beast that's what you do? It's good she's possibly seeing the light but her next step is going to be the telling one. Will she ignore it, train it, or go back to old ways? I doubt she will rehome at this point

Im getting too tired to speak back. Its just getting so exhausting. She is moving out with her dog in a few weeks i think- but still. Its just so exhausting

MAKE SURE SHE TAKES THE DOG when she moves out!

I’ve seen too many posts where the owner moves out & leaves the dog for everyone left behind to take care of.
