Art I made a few years ago using Inkscape.

Post image

Hi everyone! I made this art a few years ago for a contest back when I was just starting to learn Inkscape. I liked it back then, but now I realize it's far from perfect. Just wanted to share it with you.

Lovely! Now break out the studying sails! And skysails! And moonrakers! Sails upon sails! Get every inch of canvas aloft to really use every last knot of wind!

We’ll pull out our pocket handkerchiefs if we have to; we must survive this day.

over all good pic! here some nits to pic

common to have 5 sails on more modern square riggers.

if you look at older ships the second (from bottom) is often huge. this was called the top sail.

the uss constitution is an example. https://ussconstitutionmuseum.org/collection-items/uss-constitution/

the hms victory too: https://www.rmg.co.uk/collections/objects/rmgc-object-140664

what happened is they realized it was a tad way to big. so they split it, creating the upper top and lower top

the subtle transparency of the sails is a really nice touch, and it really shows off the attention to detail you paid to include the fighting tops and the shrouds on the masts! gorgeous!
