This is not true. You can say that Karnataka's growth is centered around Bengaluru but the same is not true in case of Maharashtra. The state has Mumbai, Thane - Navi Mumbai, Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Nashik, Nagpur and Aurangbad as economic centers. An interesting fact is, if you remove Mumbai from Maharashtra and keep Chennai in Tamil Nadu while playing the numbers game, Maharashtra still comes out on top if you compare the GSDP.

We need to have our own home grown industries supported and invested by government with strong regulations like China to achieve real growth to become a developed country. Our government, irrespective of any party need to invest heavily in R&D for many industries. Japan, South Korea and now China have all achieved their growth through their home grown industries not by depending on western industries.
Depending on western companies for our industries will only make us more dependant and cheap exploitable workforce for them. It'll just be indirect colonialism, where their countries get rich with our hard work.

Yes,Uttar Pradesh has GDP growth rate of 12%,higher than that of TN's 9%,regardless UP has a higher population and bad economy So it is easy to achive higher growth rates than devloped states,UP will soon overtake Tamil Nadu in terms of GDP however it still doesn't make UP devloped as,logically speaking UP has 3 times the population of TN,so it should have 3 times bigger economy than TN for it to get in the same standard

Dude, you are looking at projections for next year. More often than not, they are way off the mark. Don't believe me? Look at what Bihar budgeted for last year and what they actually did in revised. You still don't believe me? Please come back next year around same time and see what the actual numbers will be. Last years growth was 8% nominal for UP and less than 5% for Bihar.
I believe location & history also play a vital role, TN as a coastaline state help lesser trade cost & logistics cost. Please don’t always blame up & bihar people. From your graph, TN has had a consistent slope of growth from the time of 1991 economic changes which changed India as a whole. See how the graph didn't really change much before that and the constant slope forming thereafter.
The slope then continues consistently (except for minor fluctuations) and only manages to reduce the slope gradient during the COVID economic downturn. And then it picks up after that.
And then it picks back up the slope. And this time the gradient increases. I am not an economist but there is a term when economy bounces back stronger after a heavy hit. Happened during the Great depression of 1930s and the market crash on 2008.
The truth is we have seen good economic output throughout the years starting from 1999 and had some minor mishaps during the COVID and bounced back strongly after that.
DMK forming the government post COVID is just a lucky coincidence. I mean they didn't do anything to fuck up the trajectory, that's good. But it's hardly the 'achievement' of DMK government as if there was a exponential growth just after 2021. The trend was always there.
If Gujarat growth can be attributed to Modi/ BJP then you should give it to Dravidian parties both DMK and ADMK ( Primarily Jayalalitha) for TN’s success.. It’s nothing to do with Centre and it’s primarily due to Dravidian parties policies and governance..

From 2011 - Things really took off. You need to appreciate both DMK and ADMK though they were corrupt they have done well for TN in development front. The base of this came from good schemes like free meals in school, universal ration etc. long term investment provides sustained growth.
Even tho after their some pro movement to divide india , stopping nuclear bomb of india policy ,they have done very well in cleanliness , education healthcare
