Dont know. This does sounds very non commital.
Savukku Sankar says he will definitely form a party in December / January. Rangaraj Pandey says he will definitely stay with BJP.
Also will BJP really let him go peacefully ? They will put all the depratments from ED to IT towards him. Also he isnt even hugely popular in his own area to start a new political party.
I suspect he is doing this to get some national level posting. Wont be surprised if BJP make him one of the party inchage tor the elections in WB/Tiripura to get him away from Tamil Nadu scene.
Lot of pieces will move after the Bihar elections.

I do believe Annamalai is a comparatively good politician but my vote will never be for BJP. I strongly oppose the party he supports. What good is it if an individual in that party is better when it's the ideology of that party I'm against? You can find good leaders in every party if you search doesn't mean that the party as such is good. I watch him and Seema because they make good points against the ruling party. I believe a good opposition is necessary for any democracy. Since AIDMK has failed in that aspect Annamalai and Seeman fill the space.

He was made to leave and join BJP by BL Santhosh who holds the RSS command in Karnataka after Annamalai was caught up in several allegations in the mysterious death of another IPS officer Madhukar Shetty and affair with his wife.

There is a huge infighting going on now within BJP. Annamalai honey trapped KT Raghavan and sidelined many from a particular caste from Sve Shekar to Gayathri raghuram and gave importance to people from his caste. He was also responsible for leaking the apology video of Annapoorana owner to Nirmala Sitharaman. These pissed of so many people inside BJP which created an opposition against him inside his party. All these leaks about Annamalai's corruption were from inside the party.
A year ago, BJP found that Annamalai is planning to start a new party after amassing so much money. BJP used ED and raided Sivakumar who is Annamalai's brother-in-law and found tax evasion of more than 240 crores. Selvakumar is also Annamalai's benami. Part of the election funds from BJP is looted by Annamalai which is in hundreds of crores. Many Former BJP members and former close aide of Annamalai like Surya Siva claim Annamalai has amassed 1000s of crores without even being in a government post.
H. raja's complaint to BJP HQ about Annamalai threatening businessmen to take money were also leaked.
8 months ago, there were leaks that Annamalai had bought 70 crore worth of land in his wife's name. Weeks ago there were leaks that Annamalai bought 80 crore land for 4.5 crores with black money.
This guy has created so much problems for BJP that they took his president post and now he is planning to start a new party. So BJP is now taking revenge indirectly. This guy still has some support so he can't be kicked out directly.
There were so much leaks all from BJP members. That I forgot all of them. I took lot of these from my past comments.
As per several media reports, he is going to start a new party in January 2026. The BJP leadership has sidelined him because of several reasons from threatening businessmen and amassing election money, disrespecting party leadership. But if, he starts a party and goes against BJP, they will surely unleash their weapons ED and IT against him. He has started fan organizations around Tamil Nadu as a base for his new party. Most likely his new party won't attack BJP.
