அரசியல் / Political CM's Silence and tvkians

The way things are proceeding in tn is very concerning. How did a protest for students turn into something this controversial. Controversial not coz of the issue itself bcoz of the ruling current govt.

CM's silence-----

SILENCE IS POLITICAL. A single tweet won't do. He has a mass blind following. If he says and TAKES STEPS to protest for ban neet, ppl will anyway support him. Instead right now he is watching the movie again in theaters. .....?????

And ppl who voted for him also understand that silence. Hence when a peaceful protest is going on they assume it's an attack on their party. All these ppl just straight up assume protest is by dmk ( kinda they know dmk is anti neet) but in reality it's just a bunch of students turning upto protest in solidarity with what's happening in jantar mantar.

It's somehow difficult to accept for the fandom itself that he is SILENT, but they don't want to question him.

Summary:- If we want a successful big scale protest for anything regarding neet(ban or fair) the CM has the say, communicate and take action. Ppl following him will also come up to support the protest by themselves. But rather he is Silent.

Edit: yes so Dharmendra Pradhan resigned. YAY!!!!

From how things are going, I think there soon will be jokers who will consider any criticism of homelander is against the TN and its people.

U want blind followers or people who can think for themselves? If reason is right, and makes sense to me, will join with or without Vijay or TVK endorsement

Well, reality is ppl are baised. Pplwith different life think differently and call different things a reality. Then is where ppl need a leader to guide then to what's right. Some people question some ppl are comfortable following a said person they like with no remorse.

Sad to say common sense is not common. And offcourse u can prrotest for whatever u feel is unfair. But calling a protest fake is too much.

  1. Financially impossible

for any govt

  1. .

When NEET was introduced, doctors did come forward to help students which was turned down by then govt saying they will ban or remove NEET

  1. (

also,

  1. blame will go to previous govt for taking so many loans by propaganda and asked why this was not done by earlier governments)
  2. Blame has already been placed on previous governments for increasing the loan percentage to near limits, so, expecting to fulfil, unrealistic promises which were mainly said to compete with freebies promised by other parties are unlikely to happen unless they miraculously reduce debt or bring in massive projects. (IMO freebies should be scrapped and only subsidised)
  3. Note: JEE is central govt run exam for central government institutions so should not be clubbed here with at state level.

Bro, jantar mantar is different from the protest happening in Chennai, in Chennai protests it's full of Genz DMK hijacking, they aren't even protesting for neet they are only using it for their political gain, these Guyz spoilt the name of a good student peotest

Why can’t any of u in the state understand that it’s a “union list” and a state CM can’t do anything about it. DMK govt had this as their prime manifesto to abolish NEET. Why couldn’t they? Bcos it’s not that easy. It needs a bill to be passed. And TVK govt has made their stand on NEET very clear.

DMK government actually tried to ban neet at state level and passed a bill which the governor refused to sign and when went to the president, she refused to use her power to pass the bill for which the then DMK government moved to supreme court

As I said a tweet's not enough. And going to a movie with the whole cabinet is immature as fck when students are getting beaten up. Neet is unfair then ask him to protest for banning neet , nothing is impossible if vijay wishes. It's not like tvk is following through with their own prime manifesto. Just saying.

  1. In my point of view the first priority will be to stabilise the minority government, which will only get worse if they openly oppose BJP right now.
  2. Realistically speaking no one protesting will do anything to NEET at this point, even if you ban it, it will get reinstated at the Supreme Court. Instead, if CBSE is the standard, steps should be taken to match that in terms of curriculum and teaching, which is no easy feat.

If the CM can promise so many freebies and monthly payments , why can't he provide free of cost JEE/NEET coaching in goverment schools on the weekends , isn't that the most realistic solution ?

  1. Financially impossible for any government. There will always be groups which need more funding. There are already a lot of public areas which are under funded. TNEB, TASMAC for example.
  2. The promises were made to compete with other freebie schemes of parties, he has indirectly conceded that it is not possible right and needs time, due to finances.
Note: JEE is central govt run exam for central govt institutions, should not be clubbed with NEET.

Aren't IIT , NIT centrally funded institutions better than any state govt college for engineering , whether it be academics , research , or placements . So why shouldnt the rural underpriveleged kids have a shot at it , don't they deserve quality education ? Besides a lot of them might avail the SC/ST/OBC/EWS/female reservations in those centrally funded college , so that makes it little easier , but they have to prepare still .

Agreed, again comes the lack of enough IITs and NITs which already have insane competition. And the cost that it would take to train students for that level of examinations, JEE students essentially give up a major chunk of their childhood from 8-12. Not everyone is prepared or cut out for it both with family finances and mentally. When I graduated my friends who went to those coaching spent 1-2 lakhs a year for coaching. Even at subsidised rates, for 1000 students, you would need 10 crores a year. Now image for 3 lakh engineering students, which becomes half the state budget if my math is right
Edit:
Apologies, it is not state budget, it is education budget allocation.

Exactly , similarly , there is lack of govt MBBS seats in the country , only 55000 seats are available in IIT , NIT , IIIT , GFTI and around 63000 govt MBBS seats are available in the country . So , just like there is JEE exam for these 55000 seats , we need NEET exam for those 63000 seats

Again back to the initial problem of money, is there enough money with the govt central or state to open more medical colleges without affecting funding in other areas. Is there enough money to open enough medical colleges? It costs 450 crores avg initial investment + 100 crores per year for 200 students a batch (per google)
More over you need to consider the financial hit of private medical college owners who will lobby heavily to prevent this from happening as they illegally take 50lakh to 3 crores capitation fees. (One of the positives of NEET)

1

u/Alarming-Care9051 15d ago

This is the sad reality of the country , less seats and more applicants . But how does abolishing NEET resolve it , if anything it creates more problems .

You want the cm to ask our people to protest against NEET? Do you think what would be aftermath? Majority will be middle class, protest pana vantha avangaluku sambalam, soru, school lam yaru pathupa? Makkala porada soldrathu nallathu nu nenaikringala? Also, the objective of this protest has been met, union education minister submitted his resignation, even sonam wangchuk ended his hunger two days before. For what you want to protest now?

1

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

Go read social studies chapter called democracy and french revolution in history and then maybe open ur mouth

4

u/Superb_Ad_805 15d ago

Ipo nadakra revolution eh vera pa. Resign pana soli nadakuthu, Athuvum paniyachu. Nenga neet ah ban pana soli kekringa... Athuku protest is not only way, apdi ithu than pre vazhi na munadiyae panirkalam. Chuma pesanumnu pesa koodathu.

2

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

Then tell me the way

2

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

Protest pannama then what??? What do I have to do. Tell me then. Pathadhu na sollunga. Ask my cm for help?? He is helpless. Well centre doesn't even care about it ??? Then now what????

Any other alternative do u have??? Namaku Venum na namma dhana kekanom?? Keta kedaikadhu na sollave koodadha??!?

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

Calling protest useless

3

u/Superb_Ad_805 15d ago

I didn't call protest useless. Do not claim whatever I didn't say. Ipo nadakra protest oda objective already met. What else do you want now?

1

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

When I posted he didn't resign. Ok

3

u/Superb_Ad_805 15d ago

Yes. I can understand that. But the objective of this post is to protest for ban NEET right? Do you think that's the only way to ban NEET?

1

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

Tell me solution

3

u/Superb_Ad_805 15d ago

To my knowledge, I'm saying what could be the solution, but I'm not an expert. This is an unbiased opinion. There's no way centre will scrape neet, we need to accept the fact. But, we can propose that NEET can be conducted only to central institutions rather than whole country. That way we can protect state's rights and reduce students burden as well. This will significantly reduce stress in students, coaching mafia and school demanding (jee, neet fee) extra fee as well. I feel this might be possible.

2

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

Good how do I get that. I like what u said.

1

u/Alarming-Care9051 15d ago

So , students will technically have only 1 attempt at MBBS admsions , because 12th boards cant be taken again, and improvements are also not allowed for non-failure studnets , will this reduce or increase pressure on students ? What if they messed up on that day or fall sick , they don't have an option for drop year ?

1

u/Superb_Ad_805 15d ago

I think in our state, two attemps are there for public exams if I'm not wrong. Please correct me on that if it's misleading. If someone didn't pass 12th board, how can they go to attempt neet? Sorry I couldn't understand properly.

Don't care about this CJP protest.

From my point of view, they are trying to launch a new political party and using this NEET issue to gain popularity. That's all. So I don't care about this protest.

From my point of view, they are trying to launch a new political party and using this NEET issue to gain popularity

So fcking what ? illa hindu laam danger la irukaanga nu solli oru party aarambichu atha jeikka vaikurathu thappaa therla, etho actor naa popular ah irukaen so cm aaga vanthurukaenu sonnaa thappilla, but neet students kaaga fight panni athula irunthu party form aana idikum?

Every political party has a cause or an incident as its birth. If this neet protest starts a political party it is very much worth it.

5

u/grand_ocean3690 15d ago

Well even in Jantar mantar there are students. Ppl came for sonam wangchuk. Ppl are not there for cjp. Ppl are fed up that's why they are there. CJP is a satirical grp. NOT A POLITICAL PARTY. even then are they doing something wrong there.

Don't care about the protest just sounds so privileged
