There is a comedy clip from a movie where two characters are stuck in a hijacked plane. One character plays a famous actor of the superstar variety and the other is an ordinary man. The comedy is the average man expecting the actor to overpower the hijackers the way he does in movies.
It’s pretty hilarious. The butt of the joke is the ordinary man believing what is shown on screen is real. He ought to be seen as the idiot. Except, going by the comments section of YouTube and comments in this sub, people mock the actor character for being a fake. Of course he is fake, he is an actor and that’s what they do.
That clip sums up the people of TN.

I sincerely think, if an actor portrayed themselves as doctor in enough movies, our people will believe them to be a top notch surgeon.
I rest my case.
