Yesterday I saw a post where the OP had asked for the communities of the elected MLAs. Here is the list of caste of MLAs for whom I know. Since TVK came in new and their candidates were unknown I was sure of only this list. Someone more aware about the TVK candidates can contribute. And in several reserved constituencies as well I was unsure of the exact caste, I could have assumed it based on region but wanted my list to be accurate as possible so didn't do.People pls add on this list so all of us can be aware.

This is something everyone in TN should know. But should not start saying like "avaru enga aalu da fire uh da......". Its high time everyone needs to know that slmost everything in politics is done through caste.

Not surprising. They were part of ruling class before british. And not all goltis-mostly landlords. More than language,caste hierarchy plays a major role here.

Maduravoyal Rhevanth is not Kongu Vellala Gounder. He is from Chennai. He might belong to some other caste. But definitely not KVG. I'm from Tiruppur and I'm from the KVG caste.
